So The Beatles….I hope you wholeheartedly dive into this rabbit hole because it will be the most gratifying and important of them all….not only will you learn about music as an ever changing art form but you will also learn how music changes the world completely. They did so much in so little time it’s unthinkable and incomprehensible…hard to imagine. My suggestion is to start from the beginning and work your way to the end. Trust me you won’t be disappointed…you’ll only be more open minded than what you already are about music. Good journey and awesome reaction!

This is the famous "final rooftop live performance" of The Beatles. They broke up shortly after this recording. You're looking at history here! The keyboardist, who wasn't part of the band, was Billy Preston. He had a heck of career as well. Prior to this performance, John and Paul were arguing in the studio, and they took a break to perform live. The rest is history.

On 30 January 1969, the Beatles performed an unannounced concert from the rooftop of their Apple Corps headquarters at 3 Savile Row, within central London's office and fashion district. Joined by keyboardist Billy Preston, the band played a 42-minute set before the Metropolitan Police asked them to reduce the volume. It ultimately became the final public performance of their career.

Best music of all time. Yoko Ono, John's new wife (2nd) came into the studio, causing a lot of awkwardness and division. Once their new management problems started right around the time of this filming, they split. First with John in Oct. 1969, then Paul in April of 1970. John's leaving was kept quiet, in hopes he would return, and all would be fine, but Alan Klein and Yoko Ono, and the boys yearning to be more individuals, broke up the band. They remained friends, off and on through the rest of their lives, but business wise, they could never reunite.

Great choice of song. As previous comments have noted, this is the Beatles's final live performance. I just wanted to add, it comes from a TV documentary covering them in the studio writing and recording, but tensions get high between the band right before our eyes. That's when they took to the rooftop. If you notice, there's a police presence trying to stop them playing.
The documentary is a good insight to what led to the band's break-up. Again, a cool reaction 👍👏👏

Only one thing to describe the Beatles. In the world of popular music, the Beatles were the "Big Bang!" Nobody, and I do mean nobody comes even remotely close to the talents of these brilliant singers, songwriters & musicians from Liverpool, England. The Beatles to this day, still outsell every artist & group on the planet. And we're talking about a band that broke up 51 years ago. They have sold over 1.3 billion records worldwide. One point three billion! Their talents are utterly undescribable. John Lennon and Paul McCartney were undeniably music geniuses. And George Harrison wasn't too far behind them. The body of work that the Beatles put forth in only seven short years is simply staggering! From 1963 to 1970, the Beatles released 13 studio albums and countless top ten or number one singles. Every album went platinum, at least. Some, multi-platinum. Think about that for a minute if you will. How long does it take today for a top recording artist or band to release a new album? Say every four to five years maybe? Now look at the Beatles. From 1963 to 1970 they averaged two new albums per year. And they didn't just roll out anything, like I said, they all went straight to number one! And so many of their singles were either number one or in the top ten. The Beatles did something in 1964 that's never been done since. When they came to America in 1964, the Beatles held the top five spots on Billboard's Hot 100. Oh yes, they were more than special my friends. They changed music. They changed so many things in the world back then. Music, fashion, pop culture etc. Just an amazing, amazing band that nobody will ever com3 close to again!

Yoko Ono was something of an "artist" herself. You should do a reaction video to her summer 2010 performance at the MoMA. :-)
