When I was 15 years old I moved to Bala 1998 to 1999. I was in a Childrens called Bryn melyn. Had a flat, had staff working there. Anyway I'm from London Brixton so moving to Wales from London was different and hard to accept. Every thing was more slow, people looking at me, everyone knows everyone and my colour didn't help. Probably haven't seen a mixed race person before. Anyway after 2 months I got accepted by the locals and made so much friends. Even went Bala lake to do my fishing and my brother and cousin came over and loved the lake in Bala. Hopefully when this coronavirus shit is over i will be paying Bala a visit. Can't wait.
Hello my dear friend Geek Street Travels !!!!! Very nice video !!!!! Like ++++ !!!!! Good week to you and your loved ones !!!!! Your friend Titi !!!!! I put this video in my playlist May 2019 !!!!!
Bala is a town planned with a 12th or 13th century street grid layout and a market charter from the King of England [boo hiss] from the 13th century. It also had a magistrates court which you pass that's a pizza restaurant. There is the more of a small Norman castle on Heol you Tomen.

I've been taking my young daughter to Bala for the last few years ang again in July. We love it.
Looks like a decent mix of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants. I expect that the main attraction is the lake.
Diolch yn fawr iawn. Love the slate buildings. Looks clean with no Rubbish around and a good variety of shops and pubs. Da iawn 👍

I'm a Jones with roots in near Bala. Diolch yn fawr for sharing this!
just come back from filming for my UA-cam channel in Snowdonia. I drive through Bala, which looked lovely. Thank you for uploading.
Diolch yn Fawr!!! From a person with Welsh ancestry far far away but I'm learning Welsh as best I can.
Bala is a town, it has a "town hall" clue is in the name.
And a town council.

We will visit Bala in 2 days.
Have a wonderful time. It is a lovely town and very friendly.
Was this taken from a wheelchair or something? You can't see anything. What's the point?
Do you know why the street lines are not perpendicular and more like in a zig zag way?
Don't know brother ... If you knew please explain.
Do you mean the zig zag lines by the traffic lights? These zig zag lines are a sign not to park at the crossing

Heol y Tomen. The tour also misses the wonderful hardware shop EJ Theodore on Heol Tegid with its period window display
