    I look good in both light spring and light summer. And have been told I’m light summer in one analysis and light spring in another.
    Light summer when I have pale skin.
    Light spring when I get a tan

    I appreciate you talking about in transition types. I looked at myself on the flow charts and I look best in the combined palettes.

    Great video. Really enjoyed seeing the visuals you used to explain, that was helpful. My sound was fine and your tone of voice and volume is so calming. Thank you 🙏

    Style DNA app constantly types me as a Soft Summer but I swear people and kids have called me an angel, am earth angel etc and I am drawn to Light Summer palette the most. Seeing these crossings to above and below palettes makes sense and gives me peace as I did Not like the plain muddy looking palette, yes I like the blues and purples but I also adore the light teals and light baby yellows that were not put in style dna palette at all. Nor were the silver or soft whites. So the app is incomplete. As the emerald greens do look amazing in a leather jacket too. Malachite jewelry. Yes. Thank you woman! This is platinum, because it looks better than 24k gold indeed! 😍

    Thank you!!! This explained why I've been so confused!! I dye my hair a shade darker which ups my contrast and I enjoy a dark lipstick, but ny color type seemed to be soft summer. I am exactly that in between you describe and this was soooo helpful!

    How can i use black and white looks with soft summer?

  • @011silbermond

    That is interesting. I also found that Kirsten Dunst and Michelle Pfeiffer sit more on the border between light and soft, but would rather say soft summer. Compared to Diane Kruger or Cate Blanchett.
    Miranda Kerr is by other sources typed as Bright Spring which is also interesting when considering this idea of fluctuating coluring. I´ll have to take a closer look at her now, but I actually was confused by her cooler appearance when wearing warm colours, which shouldn´t be the case for Bright Spring.

    What's challenging is if you are attra ted to wintera bright gem tones and feel good bold and egdy and strong in them -you like loud looks because they make you feel powerful -and I'm now thinking I'm a light summer -any advice for looking your best and also wearing what your attracted to? I love dark and bright turquoise /teal and believe they look great on me -so does medium and baby blue -i think red does and believe it or not I think a peachy pink /faded salmon is actually the most flattering shirt I own-and you said that would be an autum color and one to avoid -so I'm confused with that -i think dark purples and reds and rich greens make my eyes pop - much more than a light pastel purple-very light pale pink makes me look like I've lost life totally washed out but a medium light pink looks great --i wear bright pink and thought it looked good but now I'm.questioning...i own a lot of greens and blues bc of my eyes but the faded yellowt foresty warm greens really match my eyes because there's some amber/goldish brownish yellow that's warm but the outer part of the blue is cool -and those wash out my face so I would never wear them without full make up on -i do think Salomon is probably my best color now that im thinking about it atleast for my skin -and blues and reds and bleach look best next to my blonde hair which I have highlighted light and ashy dark blonde my natural color as im older in there as well

    This is sooo helpful thank ukh so much for clarifying this and showing the side by side comparison! In high school people told me I look good in pastels -i had cotton candy pink hair for. Few year a and everyone loved it -however I have firmly believed in recent years that the gem tones look best on me --deep purple blue green also bright red and purply red -i had baby blonde hair until I hit puberty and since then I have had dark blonde -i dyed it and thought it looked too yellow so I get it professionally done and ask them to add purple toner so you Dont get that fake brassy light blonde-ivisually get warm or neutral foundation and my eyes are medium to dark blue wgreen with amber splash around the iris --ive had the hardest time identifying which color season I am -- I can tan but I burn very easily --in the winter I have very pale skin -its ref undertone and sometimes my akin looks yellowish but it's got a lot of pink... Anyone is love a video like this to help me figure out what km essence is... I've been watching so many UA-cam videos on color season and they all define it and yours is the only one who has the side by side comparison and it helps drastically more than any others because of that and i love how you call attention. To the details and help us make the distinction and explain both cases and then together --its crazy I've felt like pastels are too bland boring and Dont do anything for me or brighten my face or look --i feel light or muted colors wash me out --and I wear black and bright pink --mostly colors in the winter pallet and some from autumn since ice got older bc I thought they added depth and brightness to my look... But you helped me see for the first time why others usually compliment me when I wear pastels but I Dont see it or get it -- it's your over all look --and the contrast for me feels and looks exciting and bold/sharply edgy --which I feel goes more with my load wild passionate personality... But one of the comparisons you showed with the light and dark purple and tbs explanation blew my mind bc I would always choose deep and bright gem tones but how you explained it -her skin and essence is overpowered by the contrast and the softer purple actually did make her skin and over all look seem more brilliant --like it was her that was brilliant instead of the dress that's brilliant... Not sure if I'm saying this right... But I want to thank you for helping me understand what I have been reading so much and watching so many videos about but just not agreeing with or understanding

      Look up Body &style. Elloe Jean R…(royden maybe?) her videos help understand essences. I like these too because she doesnt ty to put people in a box. Its a place to start.

    I've noticed some of them look really sickly with pastel yellow that's supposedly the Summer color..Is this normal?
    E.g. Miranda in light yellow and without lipstick looks drained of life (I remember seeing a pic of her like that and I assumed she would be some other season because of that)

    I'm still so confused. I love wearing pastels but I sometimes feel like more muted pastels look better on me.
    My hair looks a bit dark for light summer and I've been told it can have a little bit of ginger reflections under the sun. Yet I don't tan at all, I only get sunburnt.
    A colour analysis machine opted for light summer but I feel it didn't register my skin and lips colour very well, creating a lower contrast 🙈
    And honestly, trying on different tiktok filters make me even mire confused 😂

    Soft summer. Funny when I get a tan soft fall is sometimes ok. 😊 I live in a California dessert. I'm not sun bathing. Just shorts.

    Hello! Thanks for your videos, I always enjoy watching them.
    I have done a color analysis by a professional and determined I am a summer. But I am confused as most of the online videos and information show summer type as blonde, blue-green eyes, light skin..
    I have dark brown eyes, dark brown hair typical Mediterranean skin color..which makes me hesitate whether I am truly a summer type or not. I am confused.

    • @FilosoFashion
      @FilosoFashion  Рік тому +1

      Hi Yolanda :) Depends which summer. There is a video on Soft Summer that might be useful: ua-cam.com/video/GVA80GW0Bu8/v-deo.html
      But if you have a warm Mediterranean skin tone probably you could rather fit to Autumn-ish category. But that's just in theory because I need to see you visually.

      Thank you, I have watched the video you recommended. I think cold summer colors suits me better than autumn colors. But I think the soft palette summer colors are better for me than the more bright ones. I will continue trying.
      Thanks and wishing you a happy new year 🎉 😊

    Can soft summer wear red ??? If so which shades can they wear ?

    • @FilosoFashion
      @FilosoFashion  Рік тому

      Sure they can. Somebody might say that only cold red should be used because summer is a cool season, however, it depends on your own personal coloring.

      Most likely you are a transitional type that can wear both Soft Summer and Deep Winter, on top of that also colors on the other side of the color chart as well.
