I’ve been having a hard time wondering if I’m a summer or a winter and finally understood after trying again and again to wear this bright red, or bright blue and wow summer Color’s look nicer on me. Lol finally…. Time to change up my wardrobe lol
I did a self colour season analysis and I found out that I am soft summer because my skintone is NC and I look good in soft and medium but bad in bright , but I have a dark eyes and dark black hair with ivory skin , is soft summer my colour season ?
I do. Your skin is either blue or yellow undertoned. Soft coral vs mauvey pink (if you have an olive overtone) or olive vs dusty blue green (if you have a pink overtone) seems to be a good test for it.
i am very pale, almost white, with brown eyes but i am still a soft summer. Just a reminder that you can be very pale and not have blue or green eyes to be a soft summer
I'm the same, I have very pale skin and ashy hair and brown eyes, but they have a green hue in them, they are more dark hazel than a true brown and quite often people comment on the green in them when I keep eye contact during conversations. I started researching the types after my hairdresser commented on my hair and said it's not brown, but the darkest blonde and it's cool and ashy. She really opened my eyes for the possibilities.
Same here, I never understood my color pallet because I’m very light skin with brown eyes, and most of the examples are for blue/grey eyes, so I never identify with any of them.
Same, dark ash blonde + dark brown eyes + pale skin. I wonder if our eyes being dark opens up the possibility for us to wear more contrasting patterns.
@@FilosoFashion I always imagined olive as greyish, greenish like the olive fruit. But I am reading now explanations that it talks more about the olive oil color, which probably is not true yellow, but kind of greyish, greenish. I will stay with warm yellow undertone of my skin. This is the most useful video I've watched on soft summer tips and I really enjoyed listening to you. Thank you so much :) Your eye colour is so beautiful btw!
First I thought I’m a deep autumn. Then I figured I’m deep winter, because of the cold undertone. But THEEEEEEN 😅😅😅 I saw a colour on a random reel which is my newly bought dress, which was completely out of “my” winter pallet. Like the dress on 6:36. I look stunning in this dress, even in the morning and without makeup. This reel was about SOFT SUMMER. My only thought was: Noooo way… But here I am and I FINALLY figured it all out 🥲🥲🥲🥲
I am very confused by these colour palettes.. I think I am a soft summer but I could be wrong of course. I have dark blonde hair with an ashy tone mostly but it has some golden streaks in it (mostly in the tips) and olive green eyes (with a liiittle blue in the edges). My skin is probably cool, my veins are all blue and I personally believe myself to have a pinkish undertone. In summer I tan well (although I can burn if I don´t use sunscreen) and for most of my life I tend to pick green colors for clothing since I think it complements my eyes. I use silver jewerly and look best in makeup with cool undertones (in my opinion), bright colours washes me out and and my skin is very light (especially now in winter). Do you think I am a soft summer or am I completely off?
similar for me, golden reddish hair with cool skin (blue veins, blue circles under eyes, pink cheeks, never tans only burns), soft summer fits well when more skin is shown (e.g., summer dresses) but does not fit near the face, there I need more contrast
Key word…ashy. (That’s the clincher for cools…the grey smokiness in the colors). Years ago, I was draped and told I was a winter. I felt overwhelmed by many of the extreme colors. I find black, white and jeweled tones are too strong for me. Funny, I’ve always been drawn to the smokier colors like dusty rose, taupe, and slate blue, and now I know why!
Can soft summer have yellow in their skin tone and a bit gold in their hair when sun shines on it? I have a cool apperance, but my skin is a bit yellow (green veins) and cool toned foundation males me look pink while my neck is clearly yellow. Hair looks medium blonde ashy, but when sun shines on it, it looks like some strands are gold. Still my main apperance is cool i think. And not very bright. I had platinum blonde hair as kid, and i get s tan.
How about considering Autumn? Or you just might the type that is "in transition" when you jump from one palette to another depending how your skin changes within the year.
@@FilosoFashion my hair is very light tough. And i have grey/blue eyes. Had platinum blonde hair as kid, but got very tan. I think warm colors makes me look sallow, but cool colors makes me look grey and lifeless
