I think the maple farmers enjoy taking tours they wouldn't normally be able to take in person.
I've never been around the maple syrup industry but it appears to be very similar to the dairy industry in capital outlay, labor and dedication to the endeavor. I realize there is a sugar season but there's a ton of stuff to be done during the other seasons of the year. God bless the sugar makers and honeybees.

I'd love to! I try to visit every sugarhouse that invites us. It is getting to the point that I probably can't physically be at all of these places in my lifetime. However, if there are multiple places to visit in an area and/or it fits our travel travel schedule - I am there!

RO machines are impressive, 55,000 gallons of maple syrup is a lot of maple syrup!
They ended with over 80,000 gallons of maple syrup.

I definitely plan to get back up there. I really want to go to a town called Farmington where they make the Origin USA boots. Try to get a tour of their facility and grab some boots and jeans. I like their story and what they stand for.
