Hi Amari Thankyou soo much for theTutorials,I have learnt something new,God Bless you very Much. Please if I may ask is it a must to put a frame using Fondant on an image on a Fondant cake.?Can I use buttercream or whipped cream just for the frame..Please reply.Thankyou.
Hi, very welcome, be blessed too 😀 No; it's not a must to use a fondant frame for edible print on fondant. You can use something that will set e.g. Buttercream frosting - Whipped cream may have too much moisture and cause a bit of creasing on the image though. If you use Buttercream, make sure it's a bit stiffer, not too soft. All the best

Hi, please don't place a cake with edible print in the fridge; it's better to place the cake in the fridge; then before you present or deliver to client - place the edible image at that time. Most of the time; if cake stays in fridge with edible image; it make get the wrinkling and bubbles over time due to the moisture. This can also happen when the cake is removed from fridge with the image and it starts coming to room temperature.
Welcome. Try and apply the fondant and edible sheet when you know the cake is either about to be delivered or consumed instead of placing the edible print on the cake, then putting it in the fridge. Fondant does tend to get moist and sweaty in a fridge so it wouldn't be a good result
@@bakingwithamari Thank you so much. I'll try your tips next time. I wanted to do a edible image cake for daughter, but I'm afraid the dairy whipped cream going to rule out the fondant along the image since I'm using heavy whipping cream. Does heavy whipping cream good to work with fondant accents and edible imag? I love love all your videos.
@@hmongyanggirl Ah ok. It will actually be fine to use the fondant on dairy cream; as mentioned - as long as you're doing it like e.g. 1 or 2 hours before serving the cake. You should be fine. You can even opt to place the image on the cake about an hour before cutting of the cake without fondant in between. The point is just that moistuer (which is definitely there in dairy cream) -may cause the edible print to 'wrinkle' when it on there for some time. If not sure about it; then definitely use fondant (or even chocolate, melted and then pour on parchment paper to make a square the size of the edible image) to avoid too much contact of the cream with the image. Hope that answers your question. Thanks for the love!!
Try to apply fondant to my whipped cream frosting and it melt once fondant touches my whipped frosting, have you encounter that problem? Or do you have alternative solution?
To be honest; if the cream has been setting for a while and the edible print won't last too long before cake cutting; it usually is fine. The issue is the longer it stays on the whipped cream and if you're in a humid area or temperature; the moisture may make the edible print start wrinkling. So the fondant helps you avoid that in general
Which frosting? Because it depends....it could be because you didn't smooth out the image when placing on the frosting or due to moisture...When does it get bubbles - on which frosting?
I wouldn't advise that as it will get condensation when it's defrosting or getting back to room temp, which may cause the edible print to get "wrinkles". You can however refrigerate the cake without the print, then when the cake is out of fridge, place edible print on the fondant piece 👍
It sounds like your Fondant recipe has too much moisture...try kneading in bit of Icing sugar into the Fondant - then using it when it's abit "dryer" for placing on Fondant.

Thank you for the tutorial. By placing the fondant sheet right on top of the whipped cream cake like that, doesn't the fondant melt if it's in fridge?

Could i put the print on it wet butter cream or it how to drry first
I would suggest letting it set - not necessarily waiting for it to dry completely; just set and not be 'wet'
Really helpful.. I'm going to do a money cake but they want whipped cream
Hope this worked out well in the end? ^_^
Awesome 👌
Thanks 🤗
Hi, can edible image use on cream cheese frosting?
Yes, just follow tutorial as shown when using whipped cream since both are very soft and moist

Why do I get bubbles under the picture?
Which frosting? Because it depends....it could be because you didn't smooth out the image when placing on the frosting or due to moisture...When does it get bubbles - on which frosting?

Hi, please clarify your query in English. However; on your last sentence; edible print is made of edible food colors and rice paper which is edible.
When I put on fondant it bleeds through the edible print.. hoe do I solve that problem

How much advance we should place the print on the buttercream frosting? Thank you in advance
