@@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations,I wish I lived in America like you because I like American toilets like well worth’s and pressure assisted toilets and front flushers like this one you are testing and last but not least, flushometer toilets
I really like the retro pink of this toilet - bowl rinse is excellent (the old UK spec front flusher 'Single Trapway' siphonic toilets similar to this that had a very good bowl rinse with a reasonable bowl clearance performance which is better than what I have seen here (there are also 'Double Trapway' versions that have more powerful siphonic suction - using a special suction device between the tank and bowl - to clear the bowl but not so great bowl rinse)) but the performance of this particular model is not great possibly due to mineral build up in the trapway or just an inherent flaw with this model toilet! Good for a unisex urinal to flush liquids and the odd bit of tp but not for a actual toilet as it could well clog!
Yea, I have LaMosa Sahara's in both bathrooms in our house. It's been nothing but nightmares! They are the worst home toilets I've ever dealt with! Even repairs suck! Nothing seems to work right once you take them apart. I'm not sure on the year they were made, but the house was built in 89, and we moved in 2012. And now Im going to have to replace the floor in both bathrooms due to overflows. Ugh 🙄😒😑. If you never experienced a complete "out of bowl" overflow...let's just say, it's AWESOME! 😑 Especially when your son just took a shit! I wanted to die! RIP to the towels that sacrificed their lives that day! Ugh, I guess we're gonna have to call the boys and take both toilets out to the field "Office Space" style. I'm done with them!
Yeah it's using more than the designated 1.6. The flapper is supposed to close about 3 seconds after the flush starts. My dad had this toilet back in 1996 in a new house and that is how they flushed on factory settings.
I don't know if you can do the punishment day on the 1995 titan toilet it looks like the 1990s porcemex or procemex and the 2001 capizzi toilet. I don't know if there is capizzi 2 toilet. But capizzi and the prosemex toilets are dissected with a punishment. But the 1998 american standard cadet 2 has a LS Flush. I will do more comments tomorrow if you enjoy OCC plumbing and restorations videos. Please subscribe and turn on notifications, it helps his channel a lot and he really appreciate it.
It’s so beautiful when it’s pink
I like that color
Same
Female Bathrooms be like! 😂
I loved the part where he said he’s gonna try the washcloth and the bag together and the bag satisfyingly slithered into the bowl of the toilet
That was sort of cool looking

That toilet is GORGEOUS.
Not as bad as I thought. I'd save it because of the colour.
That color is very pretty. 💖💝
It is far far away now but it is helping people in need
I love your videos that you make a lot so much
Thanks!
A bathroom with pink in it such as this would be awesome. 🙂

How many gallons do these Lamosa Sahara Toilets use
1.6
@@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations oh ok
Really love the color of this toilet!
Same, it's like a Dusty Rose color
Guys it’s colour not color
@@rhysswildlifeanimalsandmor9903 it’s color, not colour
One of my colleagues had 2 of these. They plugged up quite a bit. The one in the main bathroom was replaced with a Cadet 3.
I'm not surprised honestly
Better than the WORTHLESS one
True
Bowl rinse: 9/10
Performance: 3/10
Overall rating: *6/10*
I like these but realistically, they're not really that great
You should try to find a early 80s Mansfield Mohican. I think tests would be interesting.
I have one of those
Those are next to impossible to find here but I have an Imperial.
Flush rating is an A-
Performance rating is a B-
These don't really have impressive performance but I like the flush.
One thing I don’t like about front flushers is that it just swirls round like to swirls so it doesn’t like push it into the trap way
I definitely don't like swirly front flushers
better than the other one
Despite this one having some minerals too. If you're referring to the 1992 Sahara, that thing was worthless.
Where can I find these
You can find this one in Senegal but others can probably be found in Mexico.
Hey man! I just found out you can also get these In Tamaulipas and Nuevo León. I’ve seen these there but in Blue, Almond, and Black.
Love this vids!!!! Keep it up! You’re the best. I collect toilets like you do….!
@@TChannelowashmachines Thanks! And that's cool!

Ove heard that they aren't too good as toilets. Time to bring out the baseball bat.
Seems to be a common trait with toilets that have rim syphon jets.
Yep, we call them front flushers
Nice color only.
I like the color too
Is this really a 1.6gpf? That looks like WAY more water

I guess not
@@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations we can only imagine how much weaker it would be if it were actually on 1.6. Still, it looks pretty good in that colour
@@Supcharged It would probably just have a shorter flush
8.3 out of 10
I like this one.
This Lamosa Sahara is alit better than that stupid one that doesn’t even try on a washcloth
Yeah, much better.
It did pretty terrible on the tests and I was correct that it passed the dirt test.
Dirt tests are definitely their strong point.
Would you give this toilet a B- or C-?
I’d say a C+
I don't know tbh
This things flush is very very similar to my smashed into a million pieces peerless mc-kinley
Yeah, front flushers are pretty similar.
@@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations Yeah
My rate is 9.5 out of 10.
I really like these
Rare color
Yeah, this is the only time I've ever seen a Lamosa Sahara like that.
@@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations me too, but only on video
Looks like something barbie owns.
It could have come out of the Dream House, who knows 😂
It's rough dead with the water tank
Lamosa Sahara any type on a high tank
Once I get one
Thanks.
