Beginners: continuously searching for their way to maximum realism Pros: with time, they become skilled as fuck and realize that nobody cares if a giant robot is made of toilette parts since you are gonna render that scene in the dark. I love your work man, always inspiring
Damn, those noises made me hella scared for the folks in the house. Which made me think about the future potential of your work. I look forward to any films you make.
This is absolutely awesome. One of the best things I've seen in blender. The only thing in anyway negative that caught my eye was the robots light was obviously coming from a point in front of him.
Yes, that's what I was thinking. And it feels great, that it's actually possible now, I mean ... not that I can do it, or that it's easy, but ... it's possible. :)
@@stabysfavorites2080 I totally agree with you. My background in animation is very limited, but I do appreciate the fact that this can be done with one person. It’s really amazing that a single person can create and run an entire business things to the technology that has been afforded to us in the 21st-century 😮😊🤩🙌
This is stunning work! I would never thought of using a motion suit until I saw this. This opens my eyes for great possibilities in blender, amazing job!
Holy crap the details in this are crazy!! Notice the first time the people in the house shut the light off you can barely see, but they move like a board in front of the window!! So freaking cool!!!
Great video as always. Another quick tip for anyone animating the noise is if you type #frame in the coordinate you want it'll multiply the number by the current frame value to auto animate it. You can modify it with multiplication or division to control the speed. i.e.: x = #frame/2 for half speed x= #frame*2 for double speed
I cant believe that now we all have (not all of us but it is a metaphor) tools to make an animation movie as good as pixar or etc. We can do it with a little phone now. It is still unbelievable.
I know this is probably an artifact, but I just love that the mist in the spotlight jitters a bit. It just seems so glitchy and animated, and I can't help liking it
Hey um, is that viewport on eevee or cycles? I dont think (idk) if eevee could render godrays like that. but if its cycle, how is it playing back so smoothly?
Holy shit! I watched your videos and then went back to watching corridor and until I looked up your channel by name, had no idea you were my favorite dude! Your R-rated Avengers scenes were amazing!
I'm so happy there are more and more people making advanced blender tutorials now! I already know how do delete the default cube, I want to fill my head with new concepts and idea seeds.....
Man I wish I had the vision and creativity to pull something like this off. Looking at your library of scans and placing them on a "robot" I would never have guessed that could come out looking good.
brooooooo, been on Clints channel for a minute now, between corridor and him i don't watch much else, but being a blender user myself, I really need to watch more of you sonnnnnnn. Thanks for the awesome video, I do happen to have 3D scanner and now a decent computer set up, time to get into photogrammetry yiggy yiggy yaaaaaa. Thanks Peter 43
dammn :D loved that little detail when he turned the light on, soo good.. realy good use of light to hide the imperfections! Easily one of my favourit new youtube channles ^-^
the animation really reminds me of something made in media molecule's dreams. I think it's mostly due to the saturated lighting and the way the snow makes everything look noisy.
wow amazing. It really helps when compositing and lighting with sound effects combine you wouldn't recognize how 3d model was made. What matters is the Final Render :)
Insane quality. I wonder how you guys come up with such great ideas and that node setup for wind is freaking cool. People like Ian and you are born pro I believe. 😀👌🙏

for real, dark used so much in cgi in movies

Yeah, camera work, composition and motion blur are great for hiding the seems without compromising the artistic vision too much.

you're too good at this shit
ayo what sc6ut doing here ??
Fax
I got your editing pack lmaooo
Didn’t expect to see you here
Mr song edit is here wow
the volumetric noise bit was so clever
Something I'd been trying to figure out for about 2 days until I stumbled on this, super helpful.
I’d do it with drivers not key frames tho
This is so good! Love the sound design too. How did you do it?
Yo he is a sound designer as well, probably using stock/foley sound material
It’s literally a tutorial on how to do it and ur asking him how he did it😂
@@mohammadaliwi6773 he literally doesn't mention sound in the video
@@blackeesh463 yea

1:23 For the first minute I had to keep telling myself this isn't Ian Hubert. LMAO
same here, and in the Rokoko part I was like "ok but they must be best friends or something"
I like how he just really briefly starts talking like ian hubert before he stops himself.
Wow Peter this is absolutely incredible, I think you can claim that 3090 back from Sam.
Amazing! That sound design was killer dude! Creepy yet cozy. Well done!

Can we just take a moment to appreciate how amazing it is that ONE person created all of this?! 😮😳🔥

first of all, how has this not blown TF up. This is truly the most amazing thing I've ever seen.
great foley work too! The robot "sigh" at the end was perfect.

Such a cool project! Awesome work Peter!

C’est incroyable! The lighting and animation timing is so good!
Peter your talent is astounding! This is INCREDIBLE!
This is so good! Keep it up Peter!
That little wind tip at 2:34 is something I've been thinking about for ages for. Just wasn't sure how I'd do it. I'll be using this method thanks!

Absolutely genius! Just raw talent pouring out of this video

Amazing work and amazing channel, quality over quantity.
This looks so goooood tho 😍
Throw a bunch of iPhone scans together to make it a robot and let the lighting obscure any weird parts. Genius!
Beeple wishes he was this good
So impressive. We truly live in an incredible time.
Excellent little short. Wonderful robot sounds really makes the atmosphere. Fantastic Job. Thanks
i love how intense it came out! it needs to be made into a short film!?!
Wow i Love the moving Volume trick!!! Looks so realistic!

Peter I love all the stuff u make. Great job dude
I love you for mentioning the moving snow/wind quick tip, I was looking specifically for that earlier and couldn't find it....
The sound design is on point here. Damn good job
Great work Peter! You are a boss with Blender!
It dosen't always has to be the most detailed to still create a realistic look and a great story. You just have to me smart about it. Nice work Pete
watching your videos just make me a TON of inspiration thank you!!!
that render looks SOO SICK
I love it! So funny :-)

3:59, he stopped, so scary. For me it's like am horror, good job, dude, that is cool
Looks amazing and love the sound.
How on earth does this not render a million years with all the volume and only two light sources?
been working on my scene for a while and i don’t know how to make a moving fog, this just saved my life! thank you

Yes! Finally someone from corridor did something with a giant robot. I'm super happy now
sound design was really well done, would've been a nice touch to have little ground interactions with the feet
love the vid papa pete
we got a blender god right here folks
Beautiful, would like to see the guys face inside and what he was holding in his hand to protect himself, a spoon, a pan, a golfclub or some flowers 😄

Pro tip- for the Ian Hubert effect, go into your larynx settings and raise 'voice' to 2 octaves.
