As a coeliac, I love the legions of 'wheat-intolerant' hipster divvies. Because of them, I have far more gluten-free options, and the stuff that is made is much better nowadays because so many of them are buying it.
The fact he had cancer and very few people knew about it, just shows this whole segment wasn't just a bit. He was a man of his word about not using illness to look for sympathy and attention.
This tactic straight up works. I remember a chugger suggesting I must care about some water issue cuz I was carrying a water bottle. I said "Water? This is straight vodka." and kept walking. I got no response.
a shirt with I HATE THE BLIND would be the best thing to find those perpetually offendet people. and when somebody comes at you:"no blind person has ever complained about the shirt"
My mum was really into wheat intolerance. She reckoned it affected myself and my brother's behaviour. Anyway, now i love the stuff. Moving out of home is great, you can eat whatever you can afford. And bread is cheap.
I had just discovered him no more than two months before his passing, I was rightfully pissed. Second of my top comedians that drew cancer, with Norm McDonald. They died a month apart
IMO seeing them live is much better than seeing them... dead. They can't do... stand up... at all when they're dead. Seriously though, a great talent gone and missed by many!
Such a huge loss. Not only for genius comedy but for the species. Maybe the universe needed a right hand man to make sense of the lunacy here on Earth.
We have two friends, 4 years ago they were gluten intolerant. Last week we went out for dinner and they shared huge plate of pasta. As a former physician my "gut feeling" is that most of this is psychosomatic.True celiac disease has real pathologic findings.
Yep. That wheat intolerance (gluten intolerant, in the US) was just a designer illness. A fad disability. There were so many people who did not feel special enough if they didn't have some sort of specialty sickness.
Don't know if it's quite the same, but we used to get a ranting raving Jesus freak on the corner near my dad's condo and one time he came up to me saying whatever nonsense and I responded "Hail Satan" with the devil horn/metal fingers
I learnt recently that when people have celiac disease the cutting all wheat makes them more likely to have a bad reaction to it. So a little bit of bread daily might not be enjoyable but it sometimes helps you not become more susceptible to it if you come into contact with it. I'm not a doctor by the way so please don't use what i heard online as fact. No i couldn't be arsed to fact check 😂 your welcome
Any adult with a food intolerance has failed themselves 😂 Intolerances can be overcome, thats why its called intolerance not an allergy, every single smoker on the planet understands tollerances 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
First of, rip sean lock you legend. Second of, this is 2010 the end of this what i mean is do you have that feeling whem watching early 2000s anything, shows films whatever. This is the thing bout being a zoomer and right leaning growing up in the 2000s the center views i grew up in are now right wing and i wishbwe were all less bitchy
Ricky Gervais should watch this and take notes, this is how you make jokes about disabilities without punching down. Sean dances along the edge. Clearly a great bloke who cares but doesnt hold his tongue out of fear of offending someone.
I was a cook at a restaurant the offered vegan and gluten free crapes for 8 months...... never again. Hardest part of being vegan or gluten free is not telling people about it.
I offended someone a few days ago by saying that I love a cold pint of milk. They got offended because they are lactose intolerant 😂😂. It absolutely blew my mind. Ridiculous.
I've struggled with wheat intolerance since as long as I can remember. Many sleepless agonising nights when the gluten accidentally entered my diet. To see it mocked and trivialised in this manner is offensive both to me and many others like me including all the friends and family who helped me through these dark times. It's about time comedians realised there responsibility in 2024. And for the record my phobia of heights has restricted me from the pole vault, baguette of otherwise.
RIP Sean Lock. Thanks for all the laughs and sincere overdue condolences to the family for your loss. 😔🇬🇧

Wait that's hilarious and awesome at the same time.
Fair comment!
Vegans have given me all the dairy-free options, praise be!
For the same reason I love all the people who believe climate change. Because of them I get to drive Teslas.

Just brilliant. I wish Sean was still around, and that we had him for PM.
For PM and AM too.

That's similar to Norm MacDonald, who died soon after Sean.
