- Probably the most difficult and frustrating song I've ever had the pleasure of learning.
Definitely some sloppy parts here and there but that is to be expected from this monster of a solo..

I'm still newish to guitar I've been truly playing for a year before that I never really touched my guitar but I can say that I think your right cause I use tabs Alot but am beginning to learn by ear

Not necessarily true. Syn is really hard to learn by ear in general since he sometimes just forgoes musical rules and plays crazy chromatic/jazz licks.

HOW THE FUCK DO YOU DO A PINCH HARMONIC WHILE TAPPING???? I could never crack how he did it
its like tapping a natural harmonic on an open string. When you fret a note you are essentially moving the nut for that note. if you know where to tap, you can divide the string while fretted in the same way you can when you divide the string with natural harmonics on an open string, whit is fretted at fret 0, or the nut.
I can help you in this technique, it's pretty simple

Zack Fraser just tap an octave above the previous note and pull off. its a natural harmonic, normally on 3, 5, and 7

I've been battling constantly to try and nail economy picking for the longest time and I'm still trying to learn it, but seeing this video gave me some motivation to practice some more of my excercises!. I remember I learned this whole thing back in 2014 note by note, you got the tap part much cleaner than mine though! But I understand how frustrating it can be, I also had to create a backing track for it to perform it live and man was it crazy! Hands down the most time consuming and technique driven solo I've ever learned! Good shit man!

Some people are fortunate enough to have his gift of perfect pitch and ability to play by ear. Great job!
Cindy Z yeah it had to be developed from when you are young as an adult it would be very difficult to get a perfect pitch. Luckily I was young enough to develop it. I really avoided looking at tabs just listen to.the song over and over to where I could just hear the guitar parts in my head eventually your start to put the patterns together on the fretboard. More you do it more you notice the change.
