Have been watching your animations since I was in elementary school and now I’m a sophomore in college. You saying “hang out with my wife and baby” made me realize how much time has actually passed. Blows my mind
@@G62739 i’m in 8th which yes ik is young but i used to watch him in like 1st-2nd grade and i’m surprised i didn’t get in trouble with all the swearing in the batman vids
Thank you so much for every single project you create. You, and James Rolfe are some of my inspirations behind me making movies today. I’m glad to see you’re still going strong, and I continue to look forward to every project you make.
This was incredibly helpful, I've never even heard of selective color before this video and it's a large help for some one new to ae, thanks so much man
Your a huge inspiration Forrest! Your 24 FPS and shooting on twos is a very dope technique! Your VFX are also amazing, sets are just excellent. I hope you never stop Forrest, incredible!
These behind the scenes videos are awesome dude, for sure batman is next I’m guessing which is the big one you’ve been talking about, can’t wait for but next dude i think you could whip up a really cool short back to the future video or even a short boba fett video. Hope you’re doing great man can’t wait to see what you’re gonna do next.
Excellent job on the video and thanks for doing a BTS it helps other brick filmers also Gus really did an excellent job with the CGI and can’t wait to see more brick films implement this.
5:14 yeah I thought I noticed a change in frame rates. Especially when the action kicks off, it looks like some of it is actually happening there on the set in real life; like it's a news coverage of a chaotic event localised entirely on your desk haha
The thing that's always amazed me the most about your videos, besides all the special effects, is the timing. Being able to work so many characters at once and still make them move naturally and awesomely. How do you do it?
I shit you not, some of the tricks and techniques you used in this video blew my mind! Some amazing tips you gave in this BTS video (i'd use them myself if only I hadn't quit brickfilming years ago, lmao). I see a lot of people in the comments suggesting you make a Boba Fett video as a sequel to this, which I think is a great idea and very fitting since there's a Boba Fett show coming out this December! Keep up the fantastic work, been watching for about 10 years now :)
Hey Forrest I just came across this BTS channel I didn’t know about! I just wanted to say thanks a lot for all u do bro! U made my childhood with all ur amazing lego videos. On my old embarrassing channel I tried to animated lego just like u did however I did a horrible job! Was never on ur level of animating. U made me the happiest kid growing up dropping tons of cool lego content. Thanks homie!
The fact that you use that webcam to capture your animations is astonishing! But I noticed the finished video is in 4k. I thought the max resolution of the c920 was 1080p... Is there something about that camera that I'm missing? Keep up the good work my guy!
I’m always up for new Lego animations, but what I would really want to see is a new live action video some day, forrestfire101 hasn’t had one of those for a while.
Really great bts, it was so interesting and amazing how you put this all together and I hope you do more although if I had to criticize I just thought you not looking at the camera looks kinda off, it’s not a huge problem but idk I just thought that usually you should look at the camera instead of looking up, but hey it’s cool keep up the great work Broski and cya on the next one
I use to use Vegas but I'm transitioned to premier. How do you go about setting it as stop motion 15fps or 24fps timeline like you would in Vegas? As in after exporting from dragonframe ea frame isn't set to be for 15fps or 24fps as it may be too long etc. Any help would be so much appreciated.
Hi, I really liked the razor crest flying effects at the end, do you have a bts for that? The camera moving along with the razor crest flying through the stars looked really cinematic and great!
Hey forrest! Have you ever considered upgrading to the Logitech BRIO? Its 4K capabilities seems like something you would greatly benefit from as well as being able to retain more detail in each frame.

Nice work, man. Always love to see these BTS content from you. Keep it up!
Hello there
wsg star was studios
Better than any fight scene in the Mandalorian show. Good work 🙏 thanks for the BTS
I loved watching your streams and hope you do it for more upcoming projects
Please never stop making any type of videos, specially stop-motion. You're one of the few channels that still bring me joy, nostalgia, and inspiration
So glad you’re back! I can tell you’ve been hard at work and I’ve enjoyed watching your creative growth over the years, can’t wait for the next video
I know this is an old vid but congrats on the baby man!
Your bts is so valuable every time. Thanks for making these Forrest!
Idk why but I preferred the video with just sound effects, it really shows the amount of work that goes into sound design.
That audio timeline gave me anxiety. Great work as always!
I love the idea that Kranxx and Squidman from Space Police exist within the Star Wars canon.
“Cha-preace? 😳😅 cheap price. 😂”
oh man, I'd kill for a remake of that Darth Vader douchebag clip. That'd be epic.

Thanks for being the guy who brought synthwave music to Star Wars
Forrestfire and Onbeatman collab. My dream has come true.
Genuinely excited for some more Star Wars content
8:46: ok sound design pretty cool

I’m always amazed at the cinematography of your films it looks like something from a big studio💪
AWESOME! Best animator ever!
Wow those old video flashbacks!
Thank you for doing this Forrest I was pretty curious on how you pulled off this project.
He can help make the next lego movie
If this the in-depth content we can expect from PATREON, then count me in!
I can’t believe that the little kid I used to watch play with legos has a wife and baby now. He’s come so far
I love this behind scenes, always learning something !
I remember watching your bts for lego Batman in your old room covered in posters and that loft bed.. good times

Wow didn't know you could get such a High Quality shot with a web cam. Thanks for the tip!
I'd love to see a ninjago animation that'll be an interesting one :D
Someone: Why do you spend so much time doing extreme-quality animations?
forrestfire1001: This is the Way
Well done!
Really glad I saw this video! Learned a lot of tips I might use- and I have a feeling they’ll work since you’re the best!
Would love to see a watchmen stop motion I still have the idea breaking down if you want to hear it.
This is so fun to watch!
I love the bts man
I’ve never clicked a video so fast! Edit I’d love to see more marvel and BTS videos from you in the future!
I clicked as soon as I saw it
Long time fan awesome video!
This video was awesome
Truly incredible how much effort you put into this one stop motion. How long did it take you?
I love to work with Vegas. I think the usability is better than most other programs.
But then there is the transfer to AE for effects...
2:17 me not listening at all and staring at the jumble of cables under the desk
Same lmao
Yes!!

So do they not have blue tac properly in America.
No it’s not available in America but you can order it

Yes this is so awesome
I have hat same webcam tbh
Edit on Davinci Resolve!!

Hi, I really liked the razor crest flying effects at the end, do you have a bts for that? The camera moving along with the razor crest flying through the stars looked really cinematic and great!
I dont know if you do tutorials here But I would like to see the baster effect not the explosion but the laser. Do you make it yourself or use plugins
Hey forrest! Have you ever considered upgrading to the Logitech BRIO? Its 4K capabilities seems like something you would greatly benefit from as well as being able to retain more detail in each frame.
Make more behind the scenes videos for future animations (or ones that you have made in the past if possible)
"My wife and baby" HOW LONG HAVE I BEEN GONE
I haven’t watched since the old lego Batman stuff when I was like in kindergarten bro.
Cool
Jesus Christ I haven’t seen your face in years, you changed a lot.
But How did you do for the motion blur..?
GUSSSSSS🥵
What is 100
Sorry If I missed it or if it's Private. But where did you Buy that figure? I really Loved the Design

Will you be doing any Lego Batman stop motions anytime soon other than the Wayne parents death skit?
