I'm constantly struck by how good the casters for SC2 are. As someone who doesn't really follow any other esport, is SC2 uniquely lucky in this way?

I tried watching HoTS, WC3, Dawn of War, Total War: Warhammer, and, well, they're not on the same level. But they're also not at all on the same level financially, esp the older games? I'd love to hear what others have to say too.

@@kathorsees Call of Duty IIRC had great casters in the seek and destroy tournaments

Most of the casters in league and dota are good, there are always some good ones and some that are so bad that they can make me skip a game i wanted to watch because they ruin it. Typically the bad ones are female, not that i have anything against women but it seems like esports companies have a lower standard for them so they tend to have less knowledge about that game, often times seems like they have not really even played the game.

I feel bad for Nathaniel on this Beomulf is VERY cringe almost the entire time and Nathan has to put up with his weird semi aggressive awkward banter GJ Nathaniel YOURE A BADASS thank you I enjoyed your TALKING and keeping it all together

He does tend to be a bit passive aggressive. However he also knows how to fill dead air, which is key for a caster. Overall not bad.

These two are the best casters of sc2 now.
Tasstosis are better, but they don't cast GSL anymore.
All ESL combos of stream A casters are lower quality. Stream B screams, talk only what they see, without insights.
Especially i don't like Wardi and Zomiegrab anymore. I just turn sound off.
    IMHO

how does nathanius cast for a living, play terran, and not know how to get advantages in TvZ lol. Guess cheesing ppl with BC's doesn't really teach you how to actually play SC2
