The 16 captures more global illumination. The darker colors are kind of not that deep in exchange to the brighter colors, but it should be tested. If you open it in the video editing software and the dynamic range stands more, then the 16 is really better
These photos look like they were taken with a toaster compared to a DSLR with a telephoto. Really disappointed with the 5x and 10x. Forget about 25x lol

Nothing in the iPhone 16 to make something think of upgrading from the 15. If you had to change anyway, say from an iPhone 11 or 12, then that is fine.
