- It's the truth though. What are you going to do about Meniere's ?
The point of the video is to get the people who are just complaining in posts to try and find away to feel better and try to do more then just sit on Facebook and complain. 8 years ago I was one that posted complaint posts all the time so I know what it's like. But I also listen to people who had more experience then I did with Meniere's and I found the right doctors to help so I am able live life on good days.
We are all different.
You’re fabulous. U stay in my prayers. As a wife of a man with awful disease. Thanking God he is in remission but it’s always in both our minds what if it comes back. You’re such a big inspiration ❤
I'm going to make macrame, garden and be a stay at home dog mom.
Excellent video. Do what you can. Don't sit in misery. Everyone can do something. Even if it is praying for others.
This is an excellent video Dave! When I realized I had to live with MD and other issues I stopped looking for a cure and tried to utilize tools that were available to me to help symptoms. There have been medical advances in treating symptoms so I always have hope. Keep up the good work my friend ❤
Thank you ❤️
When I was diagnosed back in 2007
The doctors said basically this exact thing
No cure, unknown causes and not every treatment works for everyone
Learn to live with it, figure out what works for you
Everyone of us has seen the dark days and a lot of us took on the challenge
It takes a warrior mentality but start with the small battles
Walk to the end of block, drive down the street, go shopping in a small store
Find something you enjoy and take small steps at it.
Enjoy the little victories and appreciate the good moments, good days and the achievements you make
Great video Dave, keep them coming brother!
Thanks !!
Sadly, I’m probably one of those annoying people as I most recently in the last few months I’ve started this journey. I have been asking a lot of questions only because it’s scary as hell and I have no idea what’s going on. I’m so appreciative of the group, I can tell you that though. I hope I get a strong as you some point.
Dave, you gave me the best advice 3 years ago. You told me to get a therapist. I got one and a psychiatrist. It has been the best thing I have done for myself. I have learned that my worth is not defined by my productivity. It took a while to accept, but it's true. I have always been a type A personality. I pushed through everything, even the death of my father. It was the wrong thing for me to do. Now, 4 years later, I am dealing with MD, VM, PTSD, depression, anxiety, plus numerous neck and back issues. I have found a way to find meaning in my life and try to roll with the punches. These issues/diseases will not define me. I am very grateful that your were there when I needed advice. I hope that I can be there for others struggling. The biggest thing I have learned from the support groups is that there are people who want advice so they can help themselves and others that want someone to fix them. So far modern medicine hasn't found a cure for us. So you better get to work on yourself.
❤️❤️
Makes me so happy to know I helped you ❤️
