thank you so much for these videos!! I can't believe it but I just got a 9-9+ in my november science mock i just did, these videos have literally been a blessing on me tysm 🥺🙏🏼
Thanks to u Henry i was able to get a 5 in foundation combined science in my year 11 mock. And my teacher said i can now move to higher combined science so i can get a 9 i hope i can do it thanks for the advice
If you do Seneca how often do you do it like a hour every two days or and should u focus on just paper 2 for the next mock or both papers and prioritise paper 2
I recommend cognito. They have flashcards and videos aswell as some practice questions. I found senca quite exhausting because it's just a bunch if text and its not as interactive as cognito
hi! this video was so helpful, thank you. i have completed all of my mocks and am now starting to get my results back. what revision would you say i should be doing now? any tips on staying motivated and stop procrastinating?
sadly all of my science flashcards were on paper, so that would take me AGES. most of them were very personalised to me too, so wouldn't include everything you need
@@HenryBrandRevision oh i thought they were online, well in that case, do you think it is a better idea to use freesciencelessons to make flashcards or to use the spec, because for the past few weeks, ive been primarily focusing on using the spec, which while is MUCH faster than fsl, when I go through the flashcards I don't understand anything, and I don't really feel like I'm remembering any of it. My mocks are in 5 weeks, so I feel like it's not too late to go back now if I put in the time
what do you mean? you dont know what exact topics will come up. id say focus on the topics that appear frequently, and topics you struggle with. not ignoring topics that dont frequently appear, since you never know when the exam board will decide to surprise you with a topic they haven't used in a paper for 5 years.. essentially revise everything
@@saku.ra_ its just maths man shall i revise like step by step but i just feel like i wont have enough time or shall i just like do exam style questions
@ioanisaesthetic ooh.. honestly i really hate math, hardly revise for it. 😭 but im grateful to have a helpful teacher, after our year10 mocks she gave us individually topics we need to improve on, and we're doing a lot of revision at the moment. I think maybe you should do some past papers, see where your weaknesses are, and focus on those
@@saku.ra_ what do you think about science I’m revising forces and nearly finishing it shall I revise everything or some parts as I don’t know what to revise as we haven’t got the topic list yet and we did paper 1, 3 weeks ago ? We got paper 2 jan or feb time do I revise everything or specific things but i don’t know what specific stuff will come up you get me 😭
I'm glad that helped - tbh I used CATTS for history essays too. including those analytical words massively helped my exam technique and I even did it in A-level too. I'll try to do a video on history more specifically at some point, though

Thank you. I have always struggled with knowing how to combat sciences and how to revise for them. I will take what has been said. Thank you so much!

@@be_alovernotahater thank you! of course you can:

I loved all of them 😊

so did u ever actually make notes when revising, or was it all online
is it useful to make flashcards of what the specification says we need to learn ?
for sure
Could you upload your flashcards that you used please?
Would save us (or atleast me) a great deal of time

I got a Grade 5 in my GCSE Science in June 2023 at school
W, well done!
hello henry bands
is GCSEs is easy or hard?
Do you have any history tips like exam structures? And how to answer the questions. I found your geogrpahy structure “CATTS” really useful

Hey Henry with no work so far & 157 days to go, can I get all 9s?
hiya, for sure you can - but you have to start revising soon
What did you choose for your gcse?
DT, Computer science, history and geography
@@HenryBrandRevisionHi do you mind making a video on how to go about computer science? Thanks
@HenryBrandRevision can you make a video on DT please im struggling with the theory
