Nice little feature :) As a Prado driver, I can very much confirm the comfort angle -- I don't think there is any other Toyota that strikes such a good balance between on-road comfort and off-road capabilities. The FJ probably has a slight edge on sand and when it comes to making tight turns on very difficult rock terrain because of its somewhat lower weight and slightly shorter wheel base. But ground clearance and especially wheel travel of already the stock Prado is actually very good (the latter larger than even FJ and Landcruiser). Lifting is a good idea though for both. I think approach and departure angles are quite similar. For anything more than 2 passangers, space and comfort in the FJ is IMO a bit of a disaster. It's kind of unexpected though to see this difference in the cross-axle traction. I would have expected the rear diff lock to win out. I guess it shows that the 2022 Prado has benefitted from improvements in the electronics whereas the FJ remains frozen on the 2008 or so tech level. The real interesting comparison would be to now put a diesel Hilux into the picture. I suspect it may burry all of us 😅?
@@4xLifeArabia the auto FJs are 2 wd. You have to engage the 4wd via the shifter. I believe your test vehicle is an auto? So unless you shift the manual shifter into H4, you're using H2. It says right on the shifter.
The FJ looks cooler. It has personality. Looks like the Landcruiser is more comfortable but my FJ rides very nice. My complaint with the FJ is the road noise and not the best for backup visibility and the short windshield makes it hard to see overhead street lights while sitting at them.
Great folks that helped with their vehicles . nice cam angles also 👍

That's spot on. I suspect that the rear locker of FJ was not engaged. Prado is way better in comfort and convenience.
Why the long paragraph?
I own them both. Your spot on.
The FJ is a 2WD, and engageable 4WD. Which would explain the wheel spin. The Prado is a full time 4WD.
FJ is not 2WD. But I think the rear diff locker (ARB air locker) was not engaged.

Totally agree!
Excellent Arjun😊❤
Thank you! It was fun filming with you!
Thank you
FJ has cheaper parts that's a + xD
True.
fj has ko2s, prado has stock tyres.
Diesel vs V6. Wtf
Both are gasoline V6
