I really like the software. The features now in the Rodecaster Pro 2 would be a real game changer. Can the software also be used with other microphones? A friend tested it with the Elgato Wave 3 and the software didn't recognize the microphone!
How do I make it so streamyards can detect my microphone when I have it connected to the Unify Software? It won't detect it unless I turn off the software. I mostly join someone else's stream and watch my voice to sound good with the filters I set up on Aphex.
Will this play nicely with the Rodecaster Pro 2? _Can it please?_ Mapping the physical faders on the Rodecaster to selected virtual faders in Unify would be incredible.
Does it happen to anyone else that every time they turn on the pc the app says that there is an update when there is not? This ends up resetting my settings whether I ignore the message or not, it's driving me crazy ._. (I have already tried reinstalling, repairing, etc, I have it in 2 pc and only in one I have this problem).
Why don't you let me use any USB microphone? It looks like the mic jack and streamer (recording tab in windows) is dead because your software is so flawed that it won't detect a USB microphone for me. It's now GoXLR despite the fact that it goes to communicate via mini jack with the microphone, because USB signal can't see it, their software is more universal than yours. Evidently you want to force it to buy your microphones or mixers.
what about Mac users?
Thanks so much for the help.
Is there a discord for support for this? Im having incredible amounts of trouble...
Hey there, we'd recommend getting in touch with our Service Team at info@rode.com

You need the Streamer X if you want to use a non Rode X Mic. Like Elgato does it with Wave XLR
A quick question. Do the virtual channels output only through the headphone output of the mic itself?
Hi RØDE. Is Unify coming to Mac?

You will just need to select one of the UNIFY output mixes (stream, headphone, chat etc.)
can you use your mixer physical faders like say game audio like the goxlr?

At this stage, UNIFY doesn't work in this way, however we're working on combining functionality that UNIFY has into the RØDECaster Pro II ecosystem.
@@rode_xOne year later and nothing yet? 🤦🏻♂️

It doesn't work. Everything routed trough UNIFY sounds like a chipmunk.
