I was taught years ago to only put one end into the loop and then pull tight then tie a knot around the cord in the loop. I put that glue on after I tie the first surgeons know and then knot again and apply the GS Cement glue again. I try to have a larger bead at the beginning Toni can pull the knot into the bead. That’s what keeps it all secure. After 24 hours when the glue is dry then I cut my ends off. I’ve never had one break on me. Thanks again. 💝🥰
@@Heidi-Beth wow I’ve not heard that. I’ll try and find what in the glue would do that. Hopefully find one that won’t hurt it. So far I’ve not had problems and my girls wear all my older pieces i made oh 30 to 40 years ago. 😹 I was surprised when my girls started asking me if they could have them. I never dreams they’d even think about wearing them. 😹 apparently vintage is in! 🤷♀️😹😹😹
Hi I hold the tip n needle plug thingy against my finger, n line them up n slide the needle plug thingy against my finger it goes into the hole quite nicely... u will have to wipe away glue as u go. It works for me...
Great question. It's because we are streaming these shows to multiple platforms and most require portrait. That said, we are also still experimenting and trying different ways of doing it.
I didn’t notice. Do you stretch your elastic cording first, before stringing your beads on? I was always told to do that. Is it still the same advice today? I’m a beader from way back. I love learning all the new patterns. Thank you. 💝🥰🤗

I was told that the glue will eat through the string. I guess we do what we do best. Everyone has their way. 🙂

@susanroberts
Lol! I was surprised, too. I've heard a couple of beaders say it. If it works for you, keep on gluin!

Appreciate the video. But, why portrait and not landscape?

Can we buy one of these bags of beads? So cute. That’s a great stringing technique.
Yes! It's a Mr. Kitty bag and it's so fun! beadaholique.com/products/mr-kittys-big-bead-bonanza-trade-beads-mix-1-2-pound

Hi
Yes, she did .
Yes, it's always a good idea to pre-stretch your cord although Opelon doesn't seem to stretch out much. It's a good added step to do in the beginning.
I have beaded with double strands. It’s easier to close the bracelet.
