I'm not sure what everybody else did to make their cookies come out so bad but lemme give yall this holy grail comment. First of all you HAVE to refrigerate for 2 HOURSS !! They're going to go flat in the oven if they're room temp. Second of all bake them at 350 not 450, somebody commented that it was a typo and the creator liked it soo im guessing that's them confirming also wanna add to bake them until the edges turn brown, for me that was 15-20 ish minutes. Thirdly use half the amount of salt, my bf said they weren't salty but I wanted a sweeter taste overall.
@@elizabethw4706what do you mean by sprinkle? But the recipe only calls for salt once. If you want, you can add 1/2 tsp of salt instead of 1 tsp like the recipe calls for. That’s what I’m going to do and refrigerate them overnight and bake them in the a.m. Hope that answered your question even though I wasn’t sure exactly what you were asking lol.

They still were not dry but a little runny which was ok cause I set in freezer for 2 hours. I also set on 350 for 14-15 mins. I kept watching through the door to get that perfect caramel color. These were a hit at the Christmas party❤

MIGHT HELP: for those wanting to make it with white granulated sugar then add 1 cup of white granulated sugar and thats it, nothing else! you can also do it with baking powder! 1tsp if you don't have baking soda Also use 1 cup and 3/4 of flour to get a good consistency with the dough

I think its meant to cook the outside faster so its a little crunchy and the inside is chewy
