The band's set at the Gold Coast stop of 2003's edition of Big Day Out festival. This edit was made using three different sources.
"Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away)", "My Own Summer (Shove It)", "Change (In The House Of Flies)", "Birthmark" and "7 Words" were extracted from a television broadcast of the show that was recorded on VHS and later transferred on DVD, while a VCD-sourced bootleg of a different broadcast was used to include "Around the Fur", "Nosebleed", "Root" and "Bored".
The audio available on this edit features an audio bootleg with higher quality than the original audio of the video sources, except for "Root", "Bored" and "Nosebleed". While the first two are available in the audio bootleg with the same quality as the VCD-sourced video bootleg, "Nosebleed" is simply not included in the bootleg. All other tracks now sound better than they did on the video sources.
The audio bootleg features extra tidbits that were absent from both video sources (for example, a longer transition before "Change (In The House Of Flies)"). Finally, "Change (In The House Of Flies)" features a brief inclusion of the VCD-sourced bootleg towards the end, as the DVD source included a couple bugs from the VHS transfer.

Saw them in Melbourne BDO, wasnt huge on them at the time, little did I realise how much I would grow to fall in love with the band in the coming years, everything they do is golden!
I can't tell you how many times I watched the abbreviated broadcast of this show. It's probably my favorite pro-shot show of theirs. It definitely has my favorite performance ever of "Birthmark".
I've never seen Feiticiera or Engine No. 9 surface from this show, even from the audience. I'm guessing this footage doesn't exist?
In fairness, I used setlist.fm as a reference, I don't know that either songs were played. Granted that the band did, I think it's safe to assume the footage does exist, or used to at the very least.

Man this takes me back, it doesn't come across in the video but it was intense at the front of the Big Day Out pits. Only a hand full of heavy bands on the bill so people were pumped for those bands... plus so hot... but great times. Love how Chino looks out for the crowd. Still love these guys today as much as I did back in 96.
