While I couldn't find any reviews of Daniil's Ravenna recital, there are many excellent reviews of his solo recitals, including this colossal work by Brahms, for the 2021-22 season. I'd like to share a few of them with you here.
* Tobias Stosiek (Salzburg / Jul. 30):
"[...] The way Trifonov mixes the sound, especially in Brahms' last piano sonata, which one would never have expected to have such impressionistic qualities - it has something of the precision of a molecular chef. And that without the thing losing its drive. Trifonov doesn't tinker. On the contrary: someone goes all out but retains total control. [...]"

The so-called Rückblick served as a haunting reminiscence of the earlier material, and Trifonov took the finale at a stately, measured tempo, an interpretive choice that made the chorale section all the more triumphant. For me this performance is the best of the best, quite unexpected, but it is absolutely glorious .I had always thought Curzon's version the best I had heard, then Sokolov, but this work is incredible. Thank you DT.

La puissance du jeux de ce pianiste, n'a d'égal que la précision chirurgical de son toucher. Sa capacité incroyable a tout entendre de la polyphonie quelque soit la complexité d'une œuvre.

Never before have I heard such a personal interpretation of Johannes Brahms' Piano Sonata No. 3. Yet, I have heard many, often by top-level interpreters in the international piano scene. Danil was able to be original without, in any way, disrespecting the text. Intensity, hieraticism, participation, precision and sensitivity in touch are what every Danil enthusiast knows well. I will add just one detail: no horrible mask covering his face, even in the full madness of the psychopandemic. Thank you, Maestro. ❤

Эту сонату Брамса в исполнение Даниила я услышала и увидела в конце мая 2022года.Это был его певое выступление после 24.02.22. и после страшного концерта 05.04.22.в Париже.Соната Брамса в американском городе Каламазу мне очень понравилась.В комментариях к этому концерту я и узнала о том,в какое ужасное положение попал Трифонов.
Его фанаты об'явили ему бойкот,даже не слушали старые выступления. Видео из Каламазу ют'юб удалил очень быстро.Все начало изменяться только после Верб'е Фестиваля,к счастью,а в конце мая я стала писать комментарии.

@@AnnGoldberg-t4cОфициальных данных уменя нет.Но в марте 2022года я прочла в комментариях к концерту Даниила в Париже (2015г. Рахм.3концерт) его фан из Лиона писал,чтобы Трифонов публично обвини Россию в войне против Украиной,или не давал концерт в Парижской филармонии 5,04.22,иначе его забросают тухлыми яйцами,а может быть и побьют. Я тогда с ужасом подумала о французах,но все оказалось еще хуже--это были украинцы.
