One man's trash is another man's treasure very interesting. Thanks again Jordan for sharing😉☺
I learned something very new today. Awesome video and thanks for sharing
He finds things others overlook.
JOrdan, you are such a great storyteller, researcher and vlogger. You put your heart and soul into each vlog. You research and find things about your subject that many have overlooked. llook forward to your vlogs every day. You are the sunshine in my day. Of course I love Jah too!
This guy sounds so neat and to live to that ripe old age is marvelous. I love they way he said people called it junk and he called in a masterpiece, he kept a lot of stuff out of the landfills even back then. Love this vlog and what a creative house. Please give Jah a hug for me!
Love the place and that man sounded like he would have been interesting to meet and get to know. The owner/tour guide really loves the property and history and it’s awesome hag they keep it going. Jordan, thank you for showing us this place. And thanks for letting your enthusiasm show, it added to the fun. 😊
What a great place. Art was such a character lol. Your tour guide sure knows his stuff. Great vlog, Jordan
This has to be your funniest vlog yet. I just love this. Leave it to you Jordan to find the funny spots in California. Very interesting vlog. Sad the man had to be removed from his home. Can't wait to see where you take us next. Thanks a lot Jordan.
Jordan you've outdone yourself! Every creature is so important no matter what shortcomings. Art Beal's life's work in progress left an indelible legacy preserved by the tenacious American spirit. And Art with it. Another masterpiece Jordan. Jah!
Pretty amazing. I had never heard of him or his house. I don't think I will forget about him now. Thanks Jordan for sharing this great story of a remarkable man. Belinda
This was fabulous about Nitt Witt bridge. What a wonderful story about someone who lived his life on his own terms. Love Jah and you Jordan. I am disabled and my I Pad is my life. I am so glad I found you. I have enjoyed seeing so many places. God bless you always, Fairie
I was on a film crew (3 ppl) who made a film of Art. He cooked for us and put us up for the night. Genuine character and someone who embraced life.
Man! The variety of vlogs you post are amazing, interesting and so enjoyable to watch. Thank-you Jordan.
Wow! you are excelling yourself Jordan. What a character that guy is! Art was obviously "one-of-a-kind". Really interesting and am so pleased that the house is being protected and preserved. We need more Art Beal's in this world. thanks again!
A man that truly lived like he wanted to. Thanks for sharing this story with us. One thing is for sure, he stayed busy with his time. Great story and vlog Jordan.
This is really a sign of intelligence. I am very much impressed. I actually could see my grandson, he's 13, doing something like this. He is a very intelligent young man, but only in certain situations. Seriously, could you build all this and have it still standing after an earthquake. May he RIP.
Now this is recycling 😂, toilet seats for frames ingenious 😂, Art totally didn't believe in wasting anything! we could all learn something from that, when you look at how wasteful we are now! the guy who gave you the tour was pretty interesting to, Thankyou Jordan great vlog! xxx
Great job, Jordan!! NitWit Ridge is a prefect example that ones man’s trash is another man’s treasure. 🤙
Oh, I forgot to mention how much I liked the tour guide, who has so much live and respect for Art, a true California legend. Peace
Wow amazing beautiful so cool. What a funky tour guide. So pleased he is there looking after his home which was his castle. Jealousy 😹😹😹 lots of information and great story telling. 1962 calendar I was not born then. Homemade wheelbarrow 👍🏾 toilet on the roof.👀👀👀 looking looking. Thank you so much Jordan 💐
My Aunt and Uncle lived a street over. My cousins used to go hang out with Art. They loved him.
Excellent vlog thank you so much for posting
Classic..! Loved it..! Thank You..!!
This lovely character nitty reminds me of my grandpa. Always tinkering and building stuff out of nothing. Inventing the most breathtaking art or display. And then at old age trying to stick around. I am glad California made it an official Landmark and it’s Charme is still visible. Now his spirit went home there forever by the big red tree. 🙏🏼👼🏼
I truly hold an appreciation & a respect for this place and the man who had a dream!
That was awesome!!!
Jordan, Thanks.. Your Vlogs are the best!!! The way you film is how exactly the way our eyes would go...You are a talent!
It’s absolutely incredible what this guy accomplished here with this property. If you give me a pick axe and shovel, I could barely dig a hole. This place is amazing!
How cool this gentleman preserved Arts home. I really enjoyed seeing this. Thank you for finding this a sharing Jordan.
Wow this would be a great place to shoot your next Rock video!
INR
What a great place. It's amazing how people can make these places so unique.
I used to live just down the road from Art back in 1960-62.
What a character! Just loved that man.
I helped him on some things in his garden back then, since he was "getting worn out" as he used to say.
His favorite saying was "As worthless as tits on a boar hog" and in his eyes pretty much everyone and everything met that description.
Used to sit and listen to him talk about the Merchant Marine and some of his adventures in his life.
He even was in Vaudeville for a time!!
A very interesting man to say the least.
So cool to hear!!!
Larry Brandow knew him. Threw his 78 birthday.
So wonderful! California's art at its best! Very Cool!
What a unique house, Art was a pretty good builder. I'm really enjoying you road trip, Thank you for sharing Jordan
Wow just wow there are no words. He returned in the end. Amazing story
You do such a great job!!! Thank you.
What a great place and that guy was really cool & interesting fabulous ☺
You can look at this place and see Art's imagination, he made it a reality and now we get to see a small glimpse of it . Can you use your imagination and just picture what this place looked like in its hay-day? Art was ahead of the times, he made his own dream home!! Thank You, Jordan, for showing us this place, Love your vlogs (: And may Art Rest easy in and around his old tree and property
Great story of a true eccentric. And I’d say your guide’s a teeny bit eccentric too! Love it!!!
The guide definitely fit the scene!
Having grown up in Cambria in the 60s and 70s we knew old Art quite well, My dad had a garage in Cambria, he would save up all the discarded auto parts Brake drums brake shoes things like that and give them to him, One day art was telling us about a time when he looked out to the ocean from his house and the ocean was gone??? he was quite adamant about it,, Over the years I think about what he had said, The only thing it could be was a receding tsunami??? / tidal wave, possibly from the Alaskan earthquake of 1964 a 9.2 You could always tell when Art was joking or serious, he was serious this time I’m certain .. I guess we will never know..
one of your BEST!! loved learning about NitWit castle!!!
That was awesome, Jordan! What a cool place, Art Beal was a gem!
I got to your video from the Real People story. I was wondering if this place was still around and here it is! I loved hearing all the history of this place! Awesome video, Jordan!
Phantasmagorical!!!!!!!
Your Vlogs are my favorite! You have a way of making me feel as if I am right there with you on these trips! Thanks for all of your hard work making these amazing Vlogs! Much love to you and Jah!
Wow, I enjoyed this cool tour! Thank you, Jordan. Again, this is another example of why I subscribed to your channel. All the best.
Morning Jordan, have a great day.
That is a unique and pretty darn cool place!
LOVED this !
Huell Howser (RIP) did a wonderful episode of California's Gold about Nitt Witt Ridge.
I never saw that one
Huell donated all of his episodes to Chapman University before he passed. You can see the one about Nitt Witt Ridge here:
blogs.chapman.edu/huell-howser-archives/2002/01/08/nitt-witt-ridge-californias-gold-4011/
If you're still near Cambria, may I suggest visiting Linns Restaurant on Main St and trying a slice of their olallieberry pie? They sell many different pies, but this one puts them on the map! I have no association with them. Just a HUGE fan of that pie!
This is like an adult Disneyland ! I have driven by this but never inside, THANK YOU for taking your time and sharing. I love Cambria !
This reminds me of places you'd find in WV....this was awesome!! The guy is a wonderful story teller, too!! Thanks for bringing us such cool and unusual Vlogs!!!
Great volg Jordan like always, thank you so much for your hard work and sharing with us. Besos from Puerto Rico👍

That was incredible to see, wow thanks for this tour. Check out your own city, theres a few of these treasures left out there, but I would guess not for too much longer. Thanks Jordan !
Going to have to watch this several times, just to take it all in. An incredibly unique and wonderful place to see. Thank you for the insight into his character and the fantastic way his mind saw the beautiful in everything.
Wow...that was just the coolest place...ty!
A man of his own making. Too bad he didn't get back home before he passed. What a guy! The gentleman who gave the tour should sell T-shirts. I'd buy one. Thanks again
Hes not allowed to sell merchandise by orders of the city since the house is in a residential neighborhood. He can only do "free tours, with donation at the end
Thanks again Jordan
I went to see this place on the way to Hearst castle. I think I may have been more impressed with this place than I was with Hearst castle
Loved this vlog!
WOW!!!! Another cool vlogging episode. I will definitely check that place out. Awesome vlog Jordan. Thanks again.... Catch you on the next one. Arthur Child's. Oak Harbor, WA.
Love it! What a unique little place; great way to reuse old things and clutter . Thanks Jordan this was awesome !
WOW! Awesome place, thanx for sharing it!
Youre welcome!
The fellow owner/tour guide is super eccentric himself!! Almost like a reincarnated version.
Wow !! This place is awesome !! Art sure was a character ! lol I've never heard of this he had a vision tho Thank you for this !
Seeing that 1962 calendar was cool because I just learned I was born on a Wednesday. Lol
Awesome. Reminds me of Mystery Castle here in Phoenix. Loved the vlog. Thanks for sharing.
awww I loved this! thanks
I thoroughly enjoyed this amazing place!! He certainly was quite a character!! Thanks!!
Wow! This place really reminds me of Palace Depression in Vineland, NJ. That place was mentioned in the movie Eddie and the Cruisers, but it had apparently been razed in 1969, way before that movie was filmed ('82-'83), so I'm wondering if there's a chance this place was filmed at all for that movie... Great stuff! :)))
What a cool old man and cool place!
That was epic
very very cool thank you Jordon!
