- This good looking ready to fly model of the Raptor fighter jet is a ton of fun for intermediate and above fliers. Fast and maneuverable, it can be flown fully stabilized while still allowing stunt aerobatics. If you get into trouble in a stunt, just let go of the sticks and the plane will quickly and automatically level itself. Find it here bit.ly/EachineF-22
Pros
Good looking flying model of the F-22 Raptor.
Comes ready to fly with included transmitter.
Very light weight at only 55 grams with battery. Does not require any registration in most countries.
Three channel airplane with throttle, elevator, and aileron control.
Three selectable flight modes. Beginner mode includes full 6 axis stabilization (3 axis gyro and 3 axis accelerometer). Also includes angle restrictions that prevent the aircraft rolling or pitching over. Intermediate "Midd" mode also includes 6 axis stabilzation, but turns off pitch angle restrictions to allow manual stunts. Expert mode turns off all stabilization for fully aerobatic manual flying.
Controller also includes a stunt button that allows the airplane to automatically conduct loops and aileron rolls.
Also has one key return capability which wil automatically turn and fly the aircraft in the opposite direction that it was pointed at takeoff.
Constructed of flexible and crash resistant EPP foam. Also has a spongy rubber damage mitigating nose cone for those hard nose-in crashes.
Cons
Although fully stabilized to lessen the chance of crashes, it is a bit too fast for beginner pilots IMO. Beginners might have difficulty flying this as they won't have much time to react and correct beginner's mistakes (particularly if they lose orientation). Its speed also makes it an unlikely indoor flier.
Brushed motor airplane. Its 1020 sized coreless motor will eventually fail some day.
Short flight time of about 7 minutes. Although this comes with two or three batteries, it is very important to allow about 15 minutes of rest time between flights to lessen the chance of overheating and failing the brushed motor.
Can stall and enter a spin if you turn too hard while flying too slow. Stabilization system can recover (with some altitude loss) if you momentarily cut throttle and let go of the pitch/roll stick. Also roll authority is a bit slow. The automatic aileron rolls are very quick, but manually conducted rolls are difficult to conduct (not sure why?).
Fragile propellers. There is a possibility of hitting the ground and breaking them on takeoff roll rotation. You may want to stock up on additional spare props (look for 65mm diameter with 1mm shaft hole).

Nice review man as alsways, what can you advise between this on and the Volantex Sport Cub 761-4?
@@Aw4yed For a new flier the Sport Cub is better.
Yaay thank for the shout out!! And I get the first one of the year! What a treat👍👍
Thanks for the review! I've been waiting for the weather to break to review this Micro Parkjet. The on-key return is actually a one-key U-turn. It's fast like a Parkjet should be ;-) I can't wait to toss this into the air. Happy New Year and I'll see you in the Air!
Ok. Finally got to fly this today. As the man says, you need to fly this fast and at 3 channel & small aileron surfaces plus the toy grade controller It's a handful for us limited skills old farts. I enjoyed the Eachine/Volantex mini P51D Mustang a lot more even in today's stormy & windy weather - even with having first to do major surgery to the nose foam to clear grit from the gears. In lighter conditions the Volantex v761-4 Sport Cub is the most relaxing but we're still waiting for motor pinions to replace the lost ones from the bad batch we seem to all have struck. Oddly a replacement motor & gearbox set we got from Banggood China seems to have the pinion very securely nailed down. Waiting on a selection of plastic 11-toothed motor pinions from several different quads to see if we can find an alternate source of motor pinions.
It looks cool and thank you for reviewing it but does nothing better than the xk A100 which is half the price and a tonne of fun too.
Im not the First to say First but im the First to say thanks because your reviews are so helpful and funny.😊
you have to check the rods that connect to the servers because they tend to rub against the body of the plane so you have to be slightly been them out
This is a gem...i heard using a better multi pro radio you can do some mixing adjustments which really helps.
Do you know how to replace the propeller?
@@jasonrp6335i dont own it...if it screws on just get some needle nose plyers and hold shaft and turn off prop using fingers
Amazing airplane
Very good and funny videos bring a great sense of entertainment!
What no re tracks ha great video sir
hola soy el primer comentario ademas me encanto tu video y me quiero comprar uno de esos

I flew this model for the first time. Each time, despite calibrating and lengthening the elevator control rods to give tons of up elevator offset, the plane required me to hold a ton of up elevator in order to fly level in all modes. Otherwise it headed for the ground. I also found that despite lots of plausible beeping from the transmitter, the aileron and elevator trim switches have no effect on the plane. Did your trimmers work? On the upside, I didn't crash it and it goes like a rocket.
I have the same issue
This is not for a young child.Need to really your AMA Card for this one
Well it least it takes a licking..good for beginners....like me!!!....but it looks fast ..Great video..thanks!!
Took this out for the first time today. One small crash and tried to launch it again. Propeller fell off straight away. Tried to push the Propeller back on to the shaft and ut was loose. Easily spun off when throttling to try take off. It's not screwed on so I'm assuming it needs gluing on? If it snaps after it's been glued on how to get off to replace? Bad design as it should be more like a square fit on a square shaft.
doesn't appear to be a park friendly plane for city flying , so small but still requires alot of room , would like to see if it can be flown in a parking lot or smaller area lined with trees all around the limited space ? Can you fly at a more confined area for a change ? If i had a large area as you do, i wouldn't waste time with these micro rc jets .But i guess your doing a service demoing whats available out there and thanks , another area hungry micro for folks with good vision at distance. about the nose heavy situation , why not use a slightly smaller batt? or adding gluing a disc neomagnet to add weight as metal washers to the rear ?
I've seen several reviews on this one. I gotta get one for myself.
Awesome I wanna get one
Great vid. Let me ask a question. I notice the elevator and aileron do not center like other planes is that due to the stabilization control. Have not flew it yet just playing inside with battery installed and thought something might be wrong but I see like my heli that as I move it, the controls automatically move to keep it level as I hold this. Is that how it works
Yes, that is the stabilization system causing movement. However, the controls should center if you place the aircraft undisturbed on a flat/level surface.
Which do you like better this is the Macfree F22?
I just received mine, and while the rods do press against the body, the servos don't go to center in beginner or intermediate mode but stick in their last position. I also noticed the elevator is extremely sluggish with the gyro activated. None of this happens in expert mode, which is difficult for anyone to fly this plane. Brian from another site jumped to a hasty conclusion and blamed the control rods and not waiting for the servos to go to full extension after calibrating them (which they are not supposed to do. This problem makes this jet a real handful and pretty much unflyable - or just unpleasant. $Eachine/Voluntex should replace these planes or come up with a fix.
Sorry sir .. The opinion of the owner of this jet is good or not to buy?
Is this a good rc plane to learn to fly bigger 4 ch airplanes in the future? I already have a 3ch airplane but i want to get into 4ch .Thank you
This is not 4 channel, its a 'bank and yank' model ailerons and elevator only. Not beginner friendly but a good challenge to control. They fly fine, as long as you're patient while ironing out the kinks. The non-jet style birds are much better performers and 4ch. I personally really like the corsair f4u.
Hope this helps
Would you recommend the p51 as the best flying out of the warbird series? Thank you. Great vid!
Yes, absolutely
Does anyone here know how to get a new propeller on! Mine broke during a grass landing and I’m having trouble pushing the new propeller on. I don’t want to push the motor out of its mount.
Im a beginer im going to get this anyway it can't be that different from a drone
😂😂
Guys just saying i was driving my plane the my uncle told me there was a big purple plane i looked it without keeping an eye on mine an lost it
It might not be very good but at least you won't need to register it when the new laws come in
What did you think about this vs the XK A100?
The A100 (SU-27 version) is much better ua-cam.com/video/Cjcr3CfXWaM/v-deo.html
I like F 22 Raptors
Do you think this can handle a 4.5g fpv cam?
Can u teach me how to take off rudder and putting a new one
can i use the remote with other planes???
Mavic mini?
Where are you from friend???
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Best 🎉
This plane, xk a600, or hobbyzone sport cub s2 as a begginer plane?
The Beaver is an amazing plane. Very good for beginning on as you can fly it super slow, has rudder which allows you to learn co ordinated turns, and can fly pretty fast when you gas it. I love mine and would highly recommend. Beautiful little aircraft.
@@bmt9998 Nobody in their right mind would give a brittle EPS framed XK A600 to a raw beginner unless they wanted to turn it into styrofoam confetti with the first high speed nose in! It's a nice plane for experienced (and very careful!) fliers but, like the Hobby Zone Champ, its day has passed. Only for nostalgics.
For about the cheapest beginner 3-channel starter in durable EPP try the QF008 787. (You need to glue the bits together with Shoe Goop, Supaglue, UHU POR or whatever.)
For a bit more money try the Volantex Sport Cub V761-4 4-channel. Either will take the beginner's crashes pretty well and with the Cub you can switch to intermediate and expert as your skills progress.
CAN U PLEASE RESPOND ASAP I BROKE ONE OF THE MORTER THINGS AND IDK HOW TO CHANGE IT
Cool jet, second or third....
Got one from Exhobby and the stabilization system does not work.Exhobby will not reply back
I've never dealt with Exhobby, so I can't help you there. But can you provide a little more details on your problem with the plane? Maybe I or one of my viewers can help?
By the way, the stabilization system on some of these planes doesn't activate until after you arm the motor with an up/down movement of the throttle.
Yep .But thats not it.Been in the Hobby for years and got out for a few years .Got a garage full of Parkzone Great Plane etc etc
This one has me scratching my old head HaHa .Thank you for the reply. The T 28 ,P-51 from these folks are great .Love the little Prop deal .God knows its a great little invention.
Great effort! always enjoy your work but, you can't wipe the crap off a turd.
I got mine from somebody in an RC convention
I'm never first!😫😜😵
Great
I waited all winter for this day. Finally low wind and temperature near 50 and I was disappointed with this. It's much harder to control than the other warbirds, this thing is fast and took a few throws to get it flying but it was short lived. I couldn't do any low flying, I don't know but before launch I noticed one flap was up and one was down in beginner mode. Tried calibrating but didn't change the flaps trying to get them both level. Aren't they supposed to be level? I think I got a $70 paperweight.
If any control surface is off level, it can be adjusted by bending out or in those little U bends that you see on the control rods. That's why they're there.
Remember to disconnect the pushrod before adjusting. www.flitetest.com/articles/adjustable-wire-push-rods
@@Quadcopter101 I know about the pushrods but I don't think that's the problem. I can get the flaps to center with the right stick and I keep the plane level, but slowly the flaps will move to one up and one down. The instructions call for turning on the controller first then the plane. I tried this in my house but I can't fly inside of course and it seems to work to keep the flaps in the center. I'll try this in the field next time. I also learned that you can't really fly this slow or it just crashes at half throttle or less. Maybe I just need to practice more and hopefully have as much fun as I do with the other Eachine Warbirds.
How to put this battery to storage mode ?
Does anyone know how to replace the propeller for this plane?
It's just held on by friction. Pry the old one off with a butter knife. and press the new one on.
@@Quadcopter101im trying to do that, but it just doesn’t come on, maybe I’m not pushing hard enough 😅
I thought all f22 were grounded

Congratulations. You were the first to say First. You win a shoutout in a future QC101 video. Again, congratulations!
Yay
Refly take the gear off leave it off

Which do you like better this or the Macfree F22?
I like this better. The Macfree came with a nice carrying case. But other than that, it was like flying a stabilized pancake. Here's my review of the Macfree ua-cam.com/video/jCfnm1QdrBo/v-deo.html
