Nath do you think this plane is better than the eachine f22 raptor, the one with the prop at the back. This one seemed louder than the eachine jet which was unbelievably loud for a small jet , tberes only £20-£30 diff, which one is better? Bearing in mind with the newer one u get one 2s battery, so we usually get another 5 min, them 2s 500mah arnt really cheap. Ps off the top of your head can recommend a rc transmitter ,the flysky seem fair priced but I've seen most use a rx type, I'm unsure and don't want to spend too much as I'm sure I won't need one with loads of switches etc
I love these little pusher jets, currently running a Eachine F22 with a Jumper T8SG and it transforms the experience.

Nate and Abby, an easy solution for the small screen on your camera is to add a external on- camera monitor, with a little research you can find the perfect setup for your present camera and it well make filming a lot easier and more enjoyable......
I have one of these and love it. It is an incredible value to get a 2S plane with brushless motor and flight stabilization for under $100. Great performance and very fun to fly. I also have the A100 which is brushed 1S, but will fly incredibly slow and easy, and in a very small space.
Hey Nate, Would love to see the F22 Raptor and F16 Eachine again, maybe put them up against each other to see what's the best jets for the lowest price. Take care Bro
Reminds me of my favorite plane to fly...radjet pusher...since 2011 i have built 4 of them..lost 2 and crashed and repaired one countless times i still have my 4th one that only crashed a few times and still is great...on 4s it goes well over 100 mph...this little plane looks pretty fast for its size...its the best one in its class imo...i am sure there will be more brushless mini jets and warbirds coming in next couple of years...😊

Hi!! Thanks for the review!! It's a fast and very noisy plane!! I love it. But have a problem. I' can't disable the "novice" mode. It's Always in 6g mode. Try the left and right button, both, keeping press.. and nothing!!!! Please, somebody can help me!!??
Too noisy. Not much of improvement over the XK a100. I’d get one of the Eachine mini warbird series ie. mustang p51 etc. Over this everyday of the week.
PS. I eagerly await brushless versions of the Eachine warbirds.
It's handles like the real thing. But the pilot wouldn't survive the sudden. G shift yet if the plane was Cyberjacked by A.I. EJECTING PILOT. LOOK OUT cause your not shooting it down.

No, but pretty close! Worth every penny at the current price. Did you click our link to see the price? No RTF plane that is brushless exists at $20. Ive seen that ad and sadly that is too good to be true. This is the best we've ever seen at this price 😁👍😎⚓
Mine's didn't come with a manual did yours? or anybody else that has this plane? I don't know what fun to push for beginner expert or take the stabilizer off and on.

Would a bigger battery fit in the plane?
I put a 3s, 350mah. I just had to cut a little bit of the foam on the inside of the battery compartment, didn't use the battery cover, I just put a little bit of tape. It worked perfect. I've only used it once, the place where I fly is not big enough.

Has anybody had trouble with this plane ascending all the time and not descending when pushing stick up?
Yeah.
Three things.
Before you switch on/connect the battery you need to level out the elevators manually as written in the instructions otherwise it can drift left or right when flying.
Also yes it likes to climb with the stabilisation on. And when I flew it the first time I could not get it to dive.
The way I fix this is give it a bunch of forward pitch trim. You can do it mid air although now I just always do it before I take off, takes a few seconds and fixes the problem for me.
Also having it in rate 2 also gives you more pitch to play with too.

There's a scam advertisement for a rc jet with retractable gear,ducted fan etc for$9.90 that played before the video. They are without a doubt trying to scam your viewers. But if anyone wants to see more about the scam x jet made a video about the same time.
Hate those scam ads. We always report them when we see them. So sad.
@@TheRcSaylors I wasn't sure how to report it and I know it has nothing to do with you. But the plane looks really close to the one in the video and I can see someone getting confused by it.
The main difference is it's a ducted fan and it's got retractable gear. But you couldn't buy the gear for the price that they listed.
High pitched tones carry better than low pitched tones.
Nate, we old-schooler slope soarers know that a reliable hand toss starts with at least a slow trot (fast gallop is even better) with the launch hand behind your ear. When you get to full trot, or faster, quickly move the launch hand forward as straight and horizontal as you can and then release.

Interesting. The lift of the wings fights against control authority over the elevons. I love RC planes. I guess because I love aviation full stop. I just noticed that's the same nose cone XK used on their little J-11 / Su-27. Great design. I've hit the deck a bunch of times with it and so far it has always come back to shape.
Roll did look surprisingly slow. Perhaps if you put the control rods in different holes on the control horns at the control surface and/or servo ends you could improve it. For more control surface movement you need the rod CLOSER to the control surface at the control surface end, but if you do it at the servo end it's the opposite.
Neat plane. I hand launch "Nate" style. Even though I am right handed to write, I am ambidextrous in some things and even left handed on other stuff. Kinda messed up.

I love your videos. I do wish you would demonstrate the take off and landing with the landing gear from the concrete surface. I think taking off and landing are a huge part of flying and make it more fun, more realistic, and more challenging. I like to see if I can land it smoothly on a targeted section of runway. Hand throwing just makes it seem really fake. I know some people only have grassy areas to fly on.

It’s a good size plane, a bit beefier than the Volantex/Eachine version, but... compared to the other plane, this looks a bit more docile. They both scream at WOT, but the Eachine handles banks and turns very sharply.... with a higher kv motor, this really has potential to come to life!.... btw, maybe I missed it, but what happened to the flying field?
Our airfield is still available for us to fly at, but due to a change in our personal lives, we've been flying here for the time being. I imagine we will continue to fly there some off and on. Happy Flying! 😁👍😎⚓

Did you forget the landing gear ? That would have prevented the prop scrape and damage to the pushrods and servo horns !! Are you two slipping ? That wouldn't have happened in the past. I've been watching you guys since the "shows" inception and very rarely were mistakes like that made !!! C'mon guys, get back to your excellence !!!
the landing gear that comes on these little planes are garbage and they create a lot of drag and effects how it fly's

Thats a great attitude to have. Patience can save money! This is a little fast for a first RC plane, but pretty durable and flies really well. Honestly you can't beat the price either. Happy Flying! 😁👍😎⚓

Wow...i like it better than the volantex/eachine mini f22..brushless 2s! Flys amazing...this seems to be best xka plane bang for the buck available...i love flying pusher jets for years...this one is crash proof? What a great way to get back into the groove after a long lay off from flying...its a homerun...thanks for sharing..
If u do any bang goods boats. Try them volantex new boats. The lime green catram boat looks kool looking. And orange single hull looks kool wit all there metal upgrade rutters.. look them up Nate and abby. Lime green cat hull is closely a 32 inch long..

The bad news: a first-time flyer is going to crash this a few times because it's small and quick. The good news: If he/she flies it over grass, it will survive the crashes well and a move to a larger plane will be amazingly easy! I think this one is a winner.
Just brought one of these A180 F22 raptors and absolutely love it!
Steped up to this from an A100 which was the perfect beginer jet style aircraft.
I love the upgrade to brushless speedand power as well as the fact you can turn off and on stabilisation with a push of a button mid flight.
Definitely an awesome feature for people like me who are still getting use to acro,I can do my loop or roll with acro off then turn stabilisation back on to level out, make me look like a pro even though I'm definitely not 😁

Yes and I fly it alot. The one upgrade to do is to replace the mini losi connector with an xt30 connector and get some better batteries also I found by soldering an xt30 on the stock battery it has better performance, life and longevity too, not getting as hot after use. The stock battery with the stock mini losi connector will only last around 15-20 flights before the battery is done.
Best battery I found it the URUAV 7.4V 120c 350mah xt30 battery. It fits in nicely and gives great performance too. I brought two about a year ago, use them frequently and they are still going strong 👍

The battery also comes with a balance plug protector which is quite bulky you can just easily remove to fit it the plane too. 😊

You're welcome, another quirk which is easily overcome is mine and others seem to be set up to climb in neutral stick position, others adjust the servo arm but I just give mine a forward trim every time I take out since the controller resets to neutral every time it binds.
It take but 10 seconds to do so I don't mind it'd just part of my pre flight routine. Coincidentally mine becomes neutral with 22 beeps of trim so it's easy to remember 😋
mine's came with no manual took it off stabilisation too close to the ground snap Rite in half because it took a nosedive immediately! Maiden flight

This is a epic jet and being brushless makes it more awesome I did snap the nose off several times but always keep some Krazy glue it comes in handy lol I want to try a different prop any suggestions guy?

I bought my a180 and the motor seems to be turning backwards. I though maybe there was a reverse switch on the radio but I haven’t found any way to fix it. How do I fix this so I can actually fly it?
Simple,you just unplug any 2 of the 3 motor wires and switch them...all brushless motors work like this.
