Hi Vishal, tell me more about what you are observing and what, if anything you are specifically concerned about. Nitrate is usually only produced during curing, when remaining ammonium is oxidized to nitrate.
Thank you for your response. I appreciate it. I am concerned about the bio assay test results which dropped recently in compost test. The bioassay test which include percentage emergence and Relative seedling vigor was used to be around 100% and now it’s around 70%. How I can improve the bioassay performance during commercial compost production? Thanks again for your help.
@@vishalseth7227 Hi Vishal, Thanks for your question. One question that I have is what method are you using for your seedling vigor test? Are you putting seeds directly in the compost, or in a compost/soil mix? If the seeds are in compost only, you may have an osmotic effect from the compost. Thanks, John
Very cool!
Nice.
How to manage nitrate in commercial compost products?

🤣😂😅 John you've outdone yourself. I am surprised you didn't serve Dark Matter beer. Story loops send fans back to review your greatest hits.
@@pattyb5653 Hi Patty, after I made the video, I wondered that myself - where was my Dark Matter beer!
