Just got home from a long Friday & this popped up on my UA-cam feed. This was another phenomenonal duet. There's nothing "newbie" about this gifted young pianist with his knowledge of the keys. He's truly a remarkably talented musician. Dr K never fails to make people smile. The audience loved this!! Albert has boogie woogie nailed! Would love to hear more from him! I took piano lesson for 8 years and loved it. I was gifted my baby grand piano from my grandmother. My wicked mother sold my piano I have not played since. I dont have room in my house for a piano but could get by with s keyboard full keyed. Oh how I wish.
It rains a lot, and has early dark nights, so indoor pursuits are often favoured. Not that football, horse racing, yachting, canoeing, cycling, etc, etc, etc are neglected, yes, it's a talented nation.
Just a shame we are lead by a bunch of self-serving numpties. There is hope as you are correct, there are some extremely talented and clever people out there, we need more of them in places of influence, Dr K being a good example.
Really enjoyed both of you. Albert has so much talent...it's hard to believe he has only been playing for a relatively short period of time and only a year and a half of boogie. It is amazing the chemistry that flowed between you.

I do the exact same thing when I get nervous in a piece: speeding up. I can only imagine how nervous he was, given how much faster he got. He's really good, and is clearly honing his craft! Great session, you two!
