I just started this book recently too, you've motivated me to give it a higher reading priority! Just the title alone is something many of us can resonate with I think, in a world where people are constantly criticizing each other, we can't do what we need to do for ourselves if we're always worried about others tasks and judgements. I think we should also make a conscious effort to not become the judger, so there will be less of them overall.
Interpersonal relationships require a degree of distance - this is the one that resonated the most with me. I think social media has romanticized a lot of how relationships/friendships should be and we have forgotten that there is a difference in how the world and people actually are and how we would wish for them to be - which creates heavy unrealistic expectations; realism vs idealism
