I love the part where after 20:00 minutes, nothing happens.
It sounded like they're just going to turn it over to the cops in the next state
@@DanneyTanner Which kinda seems like the thing to do, when the driver is doing normal speeds but, like a moron, won't just pull over. Enforcement isn't punishment, even when they seem to really very much deserve it.
Ty for saving my time.
Talk about a dry dream.
Really??? 20 minutes of lights and sirens following a UHaul and then terminating the pursuit? The end?? Horrible.
Thanks for the spoiler alert, at least I didn't waste my time on it.
Thank you! Saw this, 3 minutes in! And $1,000 worth of liquor? What's that, a palette of Pabst Blue Ribbon or a case of nice Scotch Whisky??? (Spelling corrected because someone got their knickers in a twist!)
@@chrisdurhammusicchannel case od bud light.
@@nemodiver No, they pay you to take Bud Light out the store!

Well, that's 20 minutes of my life I'm not getting back.
That's why I always slide along the fast forward until I see something interesting.😅
@@loislynncameron9608 Smart lady!
Jajajaj, sorry
@@loislynncameron9608 me too! I’ve learned my lesson in these pursuits! Always fast forward! 😂
Or anyone else that watched it.
Arkansas would've terminated the pursuit 50 miles earlier........but their definition of terminate is different from Ohio's.
Lol, they are slowly getting away? Not that I am a criminal, but I’m pretty sure I would not use a U-Haul in a so-called high speed chase. The good news is they will not be charged for speeding, possibly for driving a derelict vehicle.
Arkansas would have terminated this quickly. Ohio police can't seem to handle anything greater than a pillow fight.
after watching many ASP videos, this was brutally boring. not completely agreeing all Arkansas pursuits should end in high speed pit maneuver, Ohio needs a better game. from BG, all the way to state line, in a rear view escort, is pathetic. then 60 more miles to Detroit? thru multiple construction zones? guess robbery is just not as criminal as used to be
@@Harold_Francis_CallahanThat whole part. ASP does NOT give up!😂😂😂
@@hotrod500hpit’s not really going to be possible to pit a heavy truck. And even then it puts the drivers and police at risk as the truck is too heavy.
Terrible idea right there. ASP would NOT put peoples lives at risk. The pits u use are smaller cars that are easy to pit.
Pitting in some places u need permission to pit. Just due to how dangerous for the perp and cop it is.
Ohio in a way may seem more scaredy cat but in the end it’s about everyone’s safety.
However OSHP does pit cars if it’s a dangerous suspect (at any speed) else it’s only at low speeds for other suspects.
There’s a video of OSHP trying to put a pickup truck and being very reluctant to do it. Why? THE SUSPECT WAS SHOOTING AT THEM! But even while the perp was trying to shoot while they tried to put (cussing the OSHP to back off) they still tried multiple times. Sadly it was not successful as (I assume) the trooper was driving a smaller caller and the suspect was driving a big heavy pickup truck which basically makes it hard to do pits and stuff. They did stop the suspect ofc
I’m fact at one point the trooper spun out when he nearly got shot (fqir reaction ig?)
Dude got right backup to speed and caught up in no time
Trust me OSHP is badass too. Just bc they don’t pit as much means nothing,
Now U-Haul can advertise their box trucks as "undefeated".
😂😂😂😂😂🎉😂😂
They were followed by a helicopter and arrested in Detroit when they stopped.
Haha, that one has a Hellcat swap...
That was a haul !
They terminated the pursuit once trooper 2 had them in their sights.
Trooper 2 is a helicopter, it followed them, and they were arrested when they stopped in Detriot.
Good 👍
Thank you 👍
Is that an msp helicopter?
⁰
Gx.
note to self: pulling over is optional in ohio
not in Ohio I guess.
So the police drove mile after mile on open highway with almost no traffic and didn't do anything?
There's 20 minutes and 15 seconds I'll never get back.
If he had been in Arkansas, it would have long been over. Trooper Byrd would have pitted that uhaul himself!!
The Arkansas State Police would have performed a tactical intervention (PIT) within ten minutes of joining the pursuit. We've seen them doing it to box trucks before.
The Ohio cops just gave this guy an escort to the state line, at taxpayer expense.
Wow that was as exciting as watching NOTHING. How did this officer not fall asleep during this chase.
U heard him let out a couple of sighs of bordom😅
I would like to know what all of those squad cars were doing with their lights on ON the road way ahead of this wanted vehicle and why spikes weren't tossed out to stop this U-Haul.
What a waste of Gasoline. Why did they chase him. Nothing else to do. Where was the Arkansas Troopers when you need them.
I did !
Life is not always a You Tube video. Recommend reading the comments before watching the video.
I had a choice; sit and watch paint dry, or watch this video. I made the wrong choice.
Arkansas state police would've pitted him about 13 minutes ago lol, rather than just following him for miles!!!!!
Or Florida Highway Patrol!
OSHP doesn't have rambars on any of there vehicles, they can pit still I believe just heavily unlikely.
This is stupid. Follow someone for miles and miles and miles and do nothing. What a waste of taxpayer money. Call ASP to come show you how to do your job.
ASP would never have let it go that far before they pitted it
@@wolfpacva Yup good ol' Arkansas 1st in PITS, 41st in education....stay golden Arkansas
@@rongieck9579 they dont let the bad guys get away like ohio did
@@rongieck9579a stripper named Dallas from Arkansas
You are so right. Just watched a video where they did pit a U-Haul truck.
Chase them out of the State and let it be somebody else's problem. Good strategy 👏
And you have a better suggestion?
u do know that they are going to have to extradite them if they want to charge them with a crime right? Abraham Lincoln avatar but doesn't know the basics of the law smdh
MSP(Michigan State Police) had been notified. Better to just hand it off and hope that the driver, seeing he's not being chased, might slow down to a safer speed thinking he escaped. The longer a high speed chase like that, especially with a U-Haul which carry huge tanks, the higher the risk of accidents, and innocent people being injured or killed. It's good strategy for several reasons.
They literally chased them out of state and let the burden of catching them be somebody else's problem. Why they didn't continue? Jurisdiction. Why they didn't try to stop them before they got to the border? Because the aggression of the cops is based on the pursued. The people who were trying to escape was not driving aggressively they were just driving out of state without endangering the public. Seems you people are fishing for someone to criticize. Do better.
@@Whatitis23 I think it just got too dangerous. I’ve taken that road many many times and traffic can go from
Little to traffic jamb pretty quickly. In just a couple miles are some major interchanges.
So nice of the suspect to escort them like that.
Arkansas has a huge parking garage full of spare Chargers just for ending pursuits. 😂
Would have far different results in Arkansas. 8 minutes in and ASP would have put that truck in the ditch.
you know it
Tpr. Jacob Byrd would have done it in five minutes. @@SgtJoeSmith
It’s like playing an old school video game for hours and finally finishing it, only to get the ending “congratulations “ and goes back to the title screen

Helicopter violated Michigan airspace," this means war, I say , this means war!yosemite sam!"
There's 20 minutes of my life I'll never get back...
They terminated pursuit at the state line and already notified Michigan. I know this route well. They didn't get away. But ohio wasted a bunch of resources. Could have pit manuvered that u-haul real easy.
yup, they could have easily overtake the U-Haul
I was wondering why they didn't pit
They eventually found the driver the other two got away.
criminals -1, good guys-0
Then the truck instantly breaks down because of Michigan's chitty roads
Will an AR take out a sidewall of a truck tire??
In slow pursuits like these it would seem pretty easy to pull up along side the perp and let the passenger officer take out a tire or two.
Since when do U haul trucks go 70? The ones I have driven had a governor and don't go over 55.
Lesson learned in Ohio dont stop for the police. LOL
$19.99 for in-city moving? That's the real steal here!
If you ever rent a U- Haul the Mileage charge is a dollar a mile, that is how they get their Money out of you!
😃😃
😂😂😂😂😂
I ain't trying to know nothing, but. . . why not send troopers, deputies and/or LEOs ahead of the suspect vehicle, stop traffic and create a choke point where you can put spikes out in one lane or another and guarantee a hit? It's a doable strategy! Think about it. This applies to all states who have pussy PIT rules. It only requires officers who can think ahead and outside the box. Oh. . . and another tip. . . you may have to block an exit ramp but it's better than twenty cruisers providing an escort.
Feel like I just watched a movie and shut it off with 20 minutes left
That’s how Bonnie and Clyde kept getting away. The police wouldn’t cross state lines.
"Curses! Foiled again!!"
So... they just escorted him to Michigan?
Amazing clarity on the radio transmissions.
The lead Ohio State Trooper always speaks (and sighs) softly, so he is not often heard...but rumor has it he carries a big stick.
@@moparman1962 on the porch? ? ?
No pit state. Pitiful!
I'm glad i read the comments before i went ahead and played the video
Why does the cop sound like he don’t want to do he’s job 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
They had so many chances to pit that was horrible
That is exactly why these criminals run. Just let them go. ? They know it. Arkansas Troopers would have had these idiots in the the back of their patrol car as soon as they joined the pursuit, successful PIT , good guys win . You can hear the frustration in the Trooper's breathing , he wasn't too happy about it, , putting innocent people's lives in danger using a 7000 lb missile,,not caring all all about anyone, that is when law enforcement should be permitted to End it by any means necessary! " Take the Shot"
What a waist of tax payers money. If you chase them you either catch them or find another job.
I wish if this was in Arkansas
I just wasted 20 minutes of my life that I will never get back!
rumor has they had drank all the liquor and passed the "BAC" when arrested in DETROIT
Arkansas would have pitted them out a long time ago.
Legend has it that U haul driver had the biggest party ever😮
I know an escort when I see one.
Guess they all should have stayed on the porch they sure don't run with the big dogs!
There was probably some cussing so the news station cut the video so we wouldn't be offended or scared for life ! Thanks wtol 11 for not even letting people know how it turned out !
The guy literally had an escort out of state and probably drinking all the evidence by the look of the swerving.
Wait, now you can rent a u-haul and run at top speed as fast as you can to reach your destination and cops can't do anything about it ?
Arkansas state police laughing at these amateurs.
They were in 2 lane construction zone. Slow the traffic down ahead of them, then bring the traffic to a halt after the exits are closed.
Might be a clue to stop drinking when you steal a U-Haul full of booze and flee across state lines. 😵💫
I don't understand why police don't use the Grappler system, as that could have ended this safely and immediately.
I hope all this wasn't to catch a petty theif. Hope no one was hurt at the liquor store
There's 20:15 of my life I'll never get back 🙄
W A R N I N G - to anyone about to was why crime is spiking in this country. I mean look at those penalties! A free escort down the highway - such punishment!
(edit: the other night I posted this comment beginning with "about to was why" ? No idea, maybe I meant "ask why"? I gotta stop eating an entire package of edibles each evening)
I had the same thought
Maybe rent a U-Haul and bring some booze home and you won't need those edibles. 😁
I do believe I hear the trooper sighing.
this should be done by Michigan state police not local Ohio cops ... it's out of their jurisdiction now
THERE IS 20 MINUTES OF MY LIFE THAT i WILL NEVER GET BACK. ALL THE COPS IN OHIO COULD NOT STOP A UHAUL CARGO TRUCK GOING 75 MPH
A one thousand dollar theft and they burned through twice that much on gas.
You can't outrun the longarm of the law.
ASP would have had them pitted in 10 minutes
Absolute joke!!! Why waste your time following!?? If that was Arkansas, that would of ended 18 minutes and 50 miles ago!!
Where were the strip of spikes guys? There were only about 50 squad cars on the road way ahead of you on that same highway. I would think that something could have been initiated well before you got there by calling ahead. Or not?
I saw at least 2 failed spike attempts in the video.
I swear GTA cops are better than in real life cops
That trooper sounded frustrated with the heavy sighs. Yeah northbound, 75 mph, light traffic. Just let me catch up and shoot the f'n tires and get this charade over with.
That job has to suck.
What a waste of a chase...........they had ample time and space to perform a PIT manoeuvre
But they was such good kid's couldn't imagine them doing something like this (stereo typed)
The two males in the U-Haul were white.
Well, thanks for the tutorial on how to get by with armed robbery. Just get Uhaul truck from anywhere, steal as much as you can from Ohio businesses (stay close to the state line), then just casually stroll to the next state -> Freedom and profit, lots of BBQ later. Outstanding
They didn't out run the helicopter - they were arrested in Detroit. They will face court in Bowling Green.
@@dennishaldiman6087One of the three was arrested in Detroit, the other two escaped. A basically empty freeway and open fields to the right and enough LEOs to keep them guessing, a PIT to the right would have ended it at @4:40. In too many states the police have been virtually decommissioned except for stopping speed, cell phone and seat belt violators they are virtually without a job. Not a jab at LEOs, it's a jab at lawmakers in our legislatures.
@@frankmoreau8847 - You need to speak with the OSP, not me. They have a speed requirement that must be followed, plus the car and driver must be pit qualified. They did not feel that the circumstances of stealing $1000 worth of alcohol was worth the risk and property damage. I agree with their decision.
This tends to happen when you're able to think above and beyond an adrenaline rush.
Good old-fashioned liquor store heist. But 1000 is 2 cases of Crown 1/2 gallons.
A big nothing burger. I'll flip over to some ASP action.
$hitty supervision… Arkansas state police would pitted that pos and that pursuit NEVER would have went that far and another lawless criminal would not have gotten away
This trooper was Not Happy! 😂
Nice to see the trooper had foresight of the road construction verification of workers being absent ! Heading into Detroit most likely stealing MALT LIQUOR !
After reading a few of the latest comments I also terminated my viewing.
This person is all over the road it's great not to much traffic
Takes a mighty stupid person to do a high speed chase in a vehicle with a 75mph limiter lol.
what useless cops! ASP would of had them easily!
Seriously 30 miles and you couldn't stop a uhaul wow..
Arkansas would have PITed this truck in the first five minutes.
I bet the truck didn't have any rear view mirrors and they did even know there was cops behind them
Ohio just gave them an escort to the state line! Didn't want the paper work.
THANK GOD NO BODY GOT HURT. GOOD JOB BY THE POLICE. (USMC)
Were those guys with shields in that van?
Why doesn’t someone pull up on the right?
Well that's 20 minutes of my life wasted and I'll never get them back.
Thank god police wear body cams, protects them, protects the public and also gives us GREAT content!
YAWN.
Waste of time and fuel🤦🤦🤦🤦 only here in Ohio 🤷🤷🤷
and gee, what a surprise, OUR police have to take care of this mess. I was born in Toledo, but man Ohio is in trouble, as is....OUR city.
You have multiple police cars following you. What is the first thing they think of (when driving a slow U-Haul), "I can outrun and lose them.?"
I can only guess that the cops didn't want to break the liquor bottles by performing a PIT maneuver ?
Yeah congress, that guy can own guns?
A perfect example of when and officer gets in front and puts 4/10 ga. To the radiator. Very minimal chance of it missing and hurting or damaging any thing else. And a lot safer then to pit the vehicle. Slowly over harts and stops! And that’s a fact.
Channel 11 did those seven anchors WRONG over a card company which by the way is ACTIVE IN CHARITY
why are they all drama queens once they are caught??? I totally don't understand these people who flee. Is it all a game to get on social media and it's usually a stolen they tear up. No license, no insurance, no registration etc. Disgusting!
Too bad the police doesn't have Semi Trucks and someone skilled enough to chase someone in it for pursuits like this. Of course it would have to be fast and have better brakes then the usual semi. That U-haul would've been in trouble if the police had something like that.
This why they just pit it faster than let this go to far .
That was the Biggest Waist of Time. Why did they even chase them? Nobody had the balls to do anything, but follow each other like they where in a parade escorting important criminals across the boarder, what a bunch of COWARDS.
