Really appreciate all the information you're cramming into your vids. I'm 6'4" about 81kg and I've gotten into lifting pretty seriously over the last year or so. I'm down from 110kg at the beginning of 2020. I've gotten pretty good at intuitive eating now so I'm not needing to track as much. Now I'm just trying to put on more muscle. Your channel is helping me realise what's achievable as we're roughly the same age. Thanks, from Australia.
I love this. Real life, honest cooking. So kind of you to share your tips and put yourself out there. I have been meaning to add some kimchi to my food (which is currently predominantly cabbage and some sort of protein, olive oil, rye bread, vegetables, fruit and sweets at the office 🙈). I will try it out.
Can I ask, once you make the mince how long does it last in the fridge or how many days meals does that give you ? You are a great inspiration and super interesting. Your videos have gave me great ideas as a base to work from and that omelette with porridge is great!!! Thanks for the info on sauerkraut and Kimchi I love them! Keep up the good work.
Glad to hear your enjoying the content!! It depends how you portion it but 80gm portions will normaly provide 4 meals from a standard 500gm pack. It will keep for 3 days in the fridge :)
Hi..Once you've measured your mince and put it into containers..you just fridge them all I take it? How do you reheat then when you want? Couple minutes in microwave..or warm up on the hob? Thanks 😊
I eat it cold. You could micro if you want it hot. But I add salad ect which wilts in hot mince. I guess you could keep the salad in a seperate tub if you want to heat the protein.
@@thatgearguy Great thank you. I'm a lazy ass single dude and need to embark on sorting my diet out. Going gym isn't my problem, decent diet is. I shall be embarking on the mince and protein meals this week, thanks a lot!
@@thatgearguy thanks chap...also, my local gym store recommended carbox powder for pre workout..is that wise? I'm sure I saw somewhere that you recommend cream of rice?
@@Twanger.. I would drink it post workout. You dont need carbs pre workout unless your a professional long distance athlete or similar. Its not going to give any better result than rice flour (aka cream of rice) to be honest but its more expensive.. rice flour from amazon and a scoop of whey protein is cheap and does the job. Thats pretty much what the mass gainer is except its over priced.
This is what I'm struggling with. I'm 5'11" 270 lbs, age 58, I need to lose 71 lbs, so I'm eating only: bacon & egg breakfast, hamburger patty with Swiss cheese & sauerkraut lunch, tuna steak with pickles & avocado for dinner, cottage cheese with strawberry & blueberries, for snack after weightlifting.
Hi Walter. So your obviously going for the very low carb option. If that is working for you then thats great. The problem you might find is that you may stop seeing results after 3-4 weeks. You will drop fat at first but then your metabolism will adjust to the calorie and carb defecit. When it does that you have very little room to cut anything out and if you do your energy and gym motivation may suffer. I suggest doing the diet I have listed. After 4 weeks you can remove some carbs. Keep the body guessing and the fatloss going. And you will still have energy to train. Then another 4 weeks reduce again and maybe increase daily cardio from 30 mins to 40 mins. This way you keep buying yourself more weeks of fatloss and you never paint yourself into a corner. Diets fail for 2 main reasons 1. Temptation/willpower and 2. They stop giving results so people think why bother and just go back to old habits.
@@thatgearguy wow, I can't believe you took the time to give me such a thorough reply! Your input is super helpful! I will try to keep the body guessing. I can only thank you by forwarding your channel to friends helping to increase your # of subs - thx!
Hi again..when you've made your mince preps...do you add your salads beetroot sauerkraut at the time? Just asking, as I'll be taking a couple of those tubs to work and adding the salads etc there would be a pita..pain in the arse..

Would the same apply to chicken mince? Have you tried that yourself may I ask?
Mate I really appreciate your videos. I'm gonna cut down the salt consumption and let's see the results. Thanks from Norwich
Glad your enjoying them!
For me, meat based and low carb has worked well, i add salt to taste. and avoid all processsed foods and sugars.
👌
