The look of this Bond is a mix between Pierce Brosnan and George Lazenby.
Great review.
My second bond game. It was generic early 2000s cheese and we loved it.
I'm glad you are one of those who appreciate this as a fun game. It doesn't get the respect it deserves - it's different but it's very fun, and graphically I think it's quite amazing for its time. Plus this was the first (proper*) game I played on the PS2, so I can't not love it. * The actual first was Disney's Dinosaur, but that one is not really worth mentioning.
This is easily the most difficult 007 game I have ever played. I never could get past the first level due to the poor fire/lock on aim. Great review nonetheless.
Hello there..! The last two weeks I was watching your 6th generation game reviews, and I wanted to tell you that I really admire your work and your objective critic reviews. Having finished 198 original Xbox games I have to admit that this generation was definately my favourite and that I'm looking forward for more great reviews from you!!
Thank you 👍
Nice review! This game brings me tons of nostalgia. I used to own a GameCube as a kid and this was one of the few games I had for it before I started focusing more on PC games.
I used to replay it over and over! There's a few secrets here and there and the levels never overstay their welcome which I really appreciate. I think the game has aged alright, all things considered!
This 007 is the second best 007 game. A lot better than Night Fire.
I remember it being a fun game and really interactive by the contemporary standards. It was also a joy to watch character models being so alive back in 2001. I think it also worth mentioning the game had a really nice splitscreen multiplayer. Really on par with Quake 2 on psone, it even had spy gimmicks in there. I've sunk hours into it with my friends being probably the only ps2 fps for that at the time I owned.
Best game of all time and was my favorite game when I was a kid playing on PlayStation 2.
Nightfire was the best out of all the Brosnan games. Id love to see a review on that!
I have a review on Nightfire also.
Retro Game Rater welp gotta check that out now
The multiplayer added so much replayability, whether it was duking it out with my brothers or the A.I. it was a blast to go at it or just be silly with the rocket launchers. Also the character selection was awesome.
Glad you had a great time 👍
This game and Nightfire were both pretty good, not without flaws though. They had great moments and both sold very well.
I do remember Agent Under Fire being very short, I ended up completing it in about a day or so. Still liked the game overall.
That sounds very much in line with my experience.
Great review as usual. Can I make a request. That request is a game called (reign of fire) there isn't any good reviews for the game. Also you get to shoot a Dragon with a tank. So there is that.
I actually have a system that chooses a game at random each week, but I do own reign of fire so it'll get a review eventually.
@@RetroGameRater Ok thanks for replying. Keep up the good work.
Loved this game when it came out. But not as much as nightfire that has an awesome story mode and multi-player is still fun to this day. Gamecube version ftw though 😎👍
Nightfire is great too, I gave that game 4 stars.
I found it really weird how slow the bullets were in this game. If someone shot at you from far enough away, you could dodge the bullet.
Loved this game.
And yes he did look enough like Brosnan without them having to pay Brosnan. lol
The guy who did the voice acting did a pretty good job to be fair.
Ahhhh. The Brosnan 007 era. Great movies and great games. Started off Goldeneye and ended with Everything or Nothing.
EA was really doing a great job with this franchise back then. Not sure why they stopped 🤷♂️
Brosnan was best bond
Sounds pretty decent, maybe could have done with a couple of extra missions, but it doesnt outstay its welcome :D
It is 100% what you'd expect from a Bond game of this era.
They should start making James Bond games again. Goldeneye is one of my favorite games. I think activision owns the license, idk why they're sitting on it. Anyways this looks fun.
Games based on movies aren't really a thing anymore it seems.
please could you bring the ps2 game series called conflict ? Conflict global terror.
It's on my list 👍
2 hours runtime sounds perfect! Definitely going to give this a bash now, looks and sounds solid.
Great for an afternoon when you've got not much to do.
10 MONTHS LATE SQUAD WHERE YOU AT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Loved playing Agent Under Fire on my ps2! I’ve now started making maps on Fortnite Creative of the old multiplayer maps: ua-cam.com/video/argO2uFx0rE/v-deo.html - thinking I’ll use Top Agent team settings for it. Let me know what you think?!
How to sprint
🤷🏽♂️
The enemies were bullet sponges
Best game of all time and was my favorite game when I was a kid playing on PlayStation 2.
