The worst part of Julia's attempt to hire a hitman to kill her husband (because ya know, divorce is too cruel) was that her husband asked the judge to show her mercy and called her a "godly woman." *I JUST CAN'T*

He is the ultimate simp. "Sure you tried to kill me, honey, but I probably can't do any better" is how I picture their jailhouse conversation going after her arrest. I can't even imagine how anyone could have such low self-esteem and a complete utter disregard for their own personal safety to stay with a partner who tried to have you killed. Doesn't he have any friends or family to talk some sense into him?

If you ever experience truly being in love with someone, you care more about their happiness than your own safety and you don't want them to suffer in a place like jail, But if it's a situation that the person is constantly living in fear of being murdered, then yes i agree it's self abuse and not good. However if you're living your dream life being with the person you love the most, it's natural to want to make them happy even if they tried to kill you, because that is the highest happiness you can experience.

      These are all women.
It's a pretty well known fact that women get really laughable sentences when compared to men.
Since men commit the vast majority of crimes, we're used to seeing harsh sentences, more in line with what one would expect for these awful acts.
Bit when a woman and a man are sentences for the exact same crime, the women will consistently draw much lighter sentences.
This is common in all western countries.

Dalia kinda did though. She got 20 years first time round, then at the re-trial she got 16 years to be served from that point. There's plenty of murderers who serve less time than that.
Most legal systems will deal in a case by case basis, rather than just doling out fixed sentences. If you plead guilty and are genuinely remorseful you'll get far less time than someone like Dalia who has never taken one iota of responsibility and keeps trying it on even though precisely no one except her sad pathetic simp of a lawyer believes her. It also depends on the severity of the crime. If you stab your victim multiple times and then skin them whilst they are still alive, then cut some flesh off their legs and cook it to serve up to the family with some roast vegies, and boil their whole head to make a stew (like Katherine Knight did) then you're going to spend the rest of your life in jail. But if you punch someone in a fight and they fall and hit their head and die, your sentence will be much shorter.
