I have to be honest, I am not into audio exploration, I would just choose upbeat music and sometimes, just a base instrumental music when I’m discussing something. I’ve tried Artlist before and it’s amazing. 😊
Thanks bro! Really appreciate that 😊🙏🏼 I remember spending HOURS looking for music for clients back in the day. It honestly is a real challenge to get the perfect track 😂
Congrats On The Artlist Support - Way Cool - I Feel As If My Preferred Sound Bed Choice Would Be Jam Bands - The Build Up Compliments The Quicker Paced Time Lapse Videos That I Create - The Deep Darker Grooves Adds To A Storm Front Moving Through The Valley - Cant Say That I Have Ever Thought About The Music Before Filming A New Project - Will Add That To The Rolodex In My Mind This Weekend - Enjoy Your Weekend Cheers
Glad I found your channel it has been very helpful with my FCPX editing. Brad have you done a BTS of you editing a video and incorporating the techniques you use here on your channel? That would be helpful to see your work flow. Thanks Juan
I’m glad you have found the videos helpful Juan! Thanks for watching 😊🙏🏼 I haven’t actually done a BTS video like that but that’s a great idea. Is there anything specific you would like to see in a video like that? Or just the general workflow?
@@Brad_West yes general work flow and using some of your cutting to beat and audio enhancing methods. I guess like taking one of your travel videos and showing how you edit them. Thanks
Hey Cyprien. Basically yeah. 😊 I can’t remember for this one, but I might have done it every frame to make it happens faster. Also, I actually made cuts and hit v on every second section using a black solid instead of doing it on the actual clip. I had some speed ramping going on that I didn’t want to mess with by cutting it up. And if I retimed that shot at all I could just move the black frames without needing to redo that strobe effect. Hope that helps 😊
If you do a search for 'royalty free music' on UA-cam you will find a bunch of channels that offer music that is free to use, but you have to credit the artist/channel where you got it from. Alternatively, if you go into your UA-cam Studio, you can click on Audio Library on the left hand side which has some free music options to choose from. I hope that helps 😊
What is your favorite kind of music to edit to? Let me know in the comments below 😊👇🏼
complex question... I would answer any rock song in acoustic (for ex. Foo Fighters - Times like these)
Good choice 👌🏼 Love that song!

Agreed. Artlist is fantastic 😊🙌🏼
Great tip Brad, thank you for sharing!
My pleasure! Thanks for watching 😊
Dude congrats on the Artlist sponsorship! Also super great job on this video. It’s hard to put to words how to find music, but you totally nailed it.

The editing on the Superman punch was epic.
Glad you enjoyed it 😄🙏🏼

Thanks Travis 😊🙏🏼 Different parts of the same song can also drastically change the mood of your edit. Have a great weekend too! 👊🏼

5:48 What method did you use to create the strobe flicker effect ? (Just cutting per frame then "v" every 2 frames ?)

@@Brad_West thanks a lot
Hi Guys, Looks like pricey. Sorry cannot afford this at the movement. Any Free Music site is available for UA-camrs?

“I haven’t listened to the radio in like 10 years”
Do you not listen to to podcasts?
No I don’t listen to podcasts. Also, I found the radio stations here played music that drove me nuts. I’d rather listen to my own playlists 😊
