- Friday, it's Showtime with the Mouseketeers and they’re live on the Small World Stage at Disneyland for Easter Week 1977. Lisa and her ventriloquist dummy, Arthur, sing "Together Wherever We Go." Julie taps a Zip-a-dee Doo-dah medley. Shawnte sings "Mr. Melody." Mindy sings "Your Mama Don't Dance.” All of the Mouseketeers perform “Jump Shout Boogie,” "Children of the World" and "Everything is Beautiful.”
Can you spot 13 year old Lisa Whelchel?
Filmed during Easter Week 1977, the live shows were performed 3 times a day from April 2-9, 1977 at Disneyland.

Good God 😆 that was 77? I think I was 15 years old in that audience crushing on Lisa big time! 😂
I had a crush on Lisa myself, and I enjoyed her "duet" with her puppet, Arthur!
That boogie-woogie number was terrific! Energetic vocals by the Mouseketeers and great band ba king(particularly the brass players).
The days of a live band! Nice!
Very good introduction by Lisa!!!!
Disney+ needs to add this!
The only thing that’s close to it is The 1978 tv special The Mouseketeers at Walt Disney World
@@BTC54321I 'd like to see that special again!
I love the Mickey mouse club
Great rock and roll vocal by Shawnte!
You go, Mindy!
Great to finally hear Mindy doing a lead vocal!

Mindy does that SONG Way better than Elvis back in the day and Congratulations on that JAM Soul Little Sister MINDY
Was this a program recently aired on Disney+ Channel? I think the old NMMC aired before there was even a Disney Channel on cable, but there’s that Disney mark on the screen. I know Disney+ aired an old special recently showing the early park and featuring the NMMC (this close to subscribing JUST to see that special), was this part of it? Or was this recorded from TV back in the 70’s? If so, good quality VCR. Thank you to this channel’s creator for uploading. I cannot get this anywhere. Very much a fan back then (and still one now). Watching these video clips… there’s so much happiness right now.
8 NMMC episodes aired on the Disney Channel August 16-23, 1998 for Vault Disney’s ‘70s Week. The next summer, 18 NMMC episodes aired from August 15-20, 1999. Those episodes are ones with the Disney Channel at the bottom right (so better quality than earlier versions).
The Mouseketeers at Walt Disney World special is currently on the Disney+ app in the U.S. The special aired on the Disney Channel 8/23/98 and 8/21/99.
The episodes or videoclips that do not have the Disney Channel logo are most likely from the original run. Poor quality but we’re glad to have whatever can be located. Back in 1977, I believe the recording system was the Betamax Home Video Recorder. I suspect not too many families had a Betamax to tape this show as it had just come out. Todd's mom taped the episodes on the original run, but I have no idea if they were ever converted.
SoCal station KTTV (channel 11) used to run the original MMC in the early to mid 70's. It was doing very well in syndication so Disney decided to update it and brought it back. During the run, they put on a live stage show at Disneyland during Easter vacation in 1977. I saw one of the day performances that week while at the park. It was a pretty good show. On a side note, one of the Talent Round up episodes had a very young Molly Ringwald as a contestant.
I added Blair ...er... Lisa as a FC freind she looks fanastic and she is a grandma
Blair mouse.
