- Named on the single's label are the five who sang on the record: Scott Craig, Allison Fonte, Lisa Whelchel, Curtis Wong and Kelly Parsons. Disco Mouse was not included on the NMMC album that was also released in 1977.
Wow. I loved listening to this song when I was a kid. Never seen the behind the scenes of this until now. If I could turn back time when I was a kid I would be so excited to see this.
I'm laughing. I'm almost crying. I've waited 45 years to see this clip again. THANK YOU so very much. I have the record. I have the mp3 version as well.
I, too, am so happy to see this segment for the first time in forty-five years. I had tape recorded in using my Panasonic cassette player and holding it up to my mono TV speaker! I was fortunate to buy the single at the Tomorrowland store at WDW in 1978; it's too bad I no longer have it.
2:44 Scott certainly could sing and his voice worked so well here with the music. His voice sounds suited to rock.
Recorded at the old Larrabee Sound in Hollywood! Great studio! Great engineer (Lenny Roberts) who recorded so many Cher songs in that same studio!
There goes my third cousin, Lisa Whelchel, whom I've never met. The other cousins and I watched the show devotedly back in the day, and stayed particularly attentive for any sign of LW. (Who knew she'd grow up to be the kind of person who brags about putting hot sauce on her kids' tongues in books on parenting advice? 😳)
Wow Lisa Whelchel from The Facts of Life as Blair Warner she was a Mouseketeer she is a great actress that's my favorite actress I would like to meet her someday!!! Thank you so much!!!
I watched it back in the day, when it was aired on TV. OmG.... Time flies...
What a fantastic clip! Love it!!
Oh the memories! Thanks for taking me back!
Loved that show , got to see the live show at Disneyland at the space mountain theature
I've been looking for a video like this, that shows which Mouseketeers sang on this record. Thanks for uploading!
Well, I still think it’s a catchy tune! I remember seeing this episode and really wanting the record. Somehow ended up buying it. I still have it today. Of course I don’t have a way to play it anymore. 😝 But I have it digitally. This must have been recorded fairly early on cuz the kids look young. By the time the series ended, Lisa and Kelly definitely looked older.
And, Curtis is super short. This really must have been done way before they started airing.
Thank you 🙏 for sharing
The Disneyland album was released in mono. The 45 single "Disco Mouse" was released in stereo!! Not sure if the flip 45 single "Walking The Dog" (also from the album) was released in stereo??
Anyone know where KT-G is or what happened to her website?
KT is me. The company shut down where I had my two NMMC websites.
@@NMMC4ever I miss your site, was a member of the gang a long time ago. Around the time of Lisa's first book. I went to the signing with a few of you.
Where's Todd on this?
Only these five voices are on the Disco Mouse record: Scott, Allison, Curtis, Lisa and Kelly. So they are the only ones in this segment.
@@NMMC4ever hmmm wonder why they chose to do that ? I was always a huge fan of Allison. Wonder what she is up to now .
Todd could not sing well enough for this group. Only the best singers in the club were used for this single.
On the musical numbers, the Mouseketeers' vocals were no doubt backed by members of yhe Wrecking Crew.
What on earth is Lisa wearing? A pinafore?
