Just had my first wedge fitting and it was with James also. The experience was fantastic and the wedges were better than I expected. Going back to Vokeys after a long time with Ping.
I love just listening to these types of tests. Just scroll down to the comments and listen to it. Sound on the strike is SO telling as to whether or not your getting along with a particular grind/bounce or not
Great stuff as usual Michael. I use SM7 56 08 M grind and SM7 60 04 L grind. I've always performed better with low bounce wedges for some reason.

Great video ! I’m a generally a digger and the local course i play is fairly soft....I used the Vokey wedge grind tester from the Vokey website and chose my 3 SM7 wedges accordingly: 50 Deg. “F” Grind, 12 Deg bounce; 54 deg. “F”Grind 14 deg bounce; 58 Deg “D” Grind 12 Deg bounce.
For years I have had 50°, 54°, and 58° Vokeys.
I just went to a Titleist facility for a wedge fitting. Surprisingly on well struck shots with a 54 I had 7 yards gap between two grinds. Made it an easy decision to choose which one filled the gap better.
Interesting video. I’m seriously considering treating myself to new wedges first time in 5 years or even longer. 52,56 and 60 Vokey SM8 not sure on bounce I was going to choose 8 on all 3. Just to be on safe side my home course bunkers are wet and hard most of the time so high bounce is no good? Will I be able to try them out though in bunkers .
Depends on how you play. I played the M grind for years over the S because I couldn’t open up easily with S. Played S in sand wedge though. Now using PM Grind 19 and not sure if I like them better than Vokey or not.
SM7 52/12 F (51/11), SM4 56/14, SM6 58/8 M (59/9), and an old 254-10 (55/11) I put in play when it's thin and tight. Like them Raw.

Michael, I play my chips exactly how you do in regards to turf interaction. What did you end up liking the best? Grind and bounce?
On the LW why didn't you try the 8deg M grind as it sits inbetween the 4deg and 10deg ??

Michael, thanks for the video! However, please give your guest a mic or stop interrupting him as he speaks. I know that you are trying to implement active listening but it was really frustrating to make out what your guest was saying.
Funny thing is lies will be different around the same green, conditions change with rain or if the grass hasn’t been mown that day, sounds all a bit overdone and over complicated designed to sell more clubs imo
