great video, you should do a video enlightening us on the condition of your Intake manifold. im sure you’re aware those things are notorious for going out. as we’ve all seen your c350 is very well taken care of so it’d be nice to see how yours is holding up. mine took a crap on me and i didn’t want to deal with it so i got rid of it and got me a face lift c250, best decision i’ve ever made, but i do miss the power my old c350 had. looking forward to more of your vids!
yes I do have some intermittent code for the manifold flaps! However the car is still very smooth and have not noticed any rough idle or out of the ordinary. That's definitely a video for another day as the manifold itself is quite pricey! I plan on replacing my manifold once a solid check engine light is on for it!
@@karmahitsbtw4032 no they update the engine on the facelift version that makes more hp and is damn near bullet proof if you’re interested look up c350 m276, they’re truly a beast.
Thanks for all of your videos. I have a 2009 W204 4matic sport. I keep getting oil smelling white smoke for a like a minute when it’s cold. I saw your video replacing your PCV valve, do you that could be my issue? I was thinking maybe my MAF as well. I’m not looking to do this myself, just trying to not be taken advantage of by mechanics lol. Any advice you might have would be so greatly appreciated!! Great videos, I hope you keep making them!
Where is the oil coming from? One of my friends has the exact same car and when he pop his hood, all the white smoke would come out from the back of the engine where you see the cam plugs and the pcv. I would start with that since it’s the most common issue with the m272 motor! It’s also not very expensive and easy to do by yourself which I highly recommend since mechanic shops with labor can be expensive!
Hello, Love your videos! I see that you have led license plate lights on your car that doesn’t look too bright and is more of like a factory install. What bulbs are those and did it have canbus built in or did you have to add resistors? Thank you.
I dont remember where I got mine! I believe it was from alieexpress but it does give me an error message which is unfortunate because it’s a process taking them out!

Hey , helpful info you shared in the video ! I was wondering have you experienced any knocking sound coming from the passenger side part of the engine. I ve read in several places that the m272s are notorious for scoring the cylenders. Most of the forums state that it is due to poor engine design by Mercedes and nothing can prevent it.
I’m not hearing any out of the ordinary knocking sounds with mine. I always add ceratec additive so that may have helped prolong and protect from any defects of my motor!
My subframe is completely fine! The car came from California and the previous owners were an old couple who garaged it and averaged around 2k miles a year! Though it’s great to know I can get it replace for free once mine does go bad!
they quietly released a recall recently regarding the rear subframe. Only downside is that they'll only honor it if it's rusting out or else if your subframe is fine then they won't do anything about it! my friend did it with his 2008 c300! @@Beastie_Boy33
yea from what i see there has to be 'perforation' which means it's about to fail and potentially cause a devastating accident. The subframe and the potential esl failure are my 2 biggest concerns with my 2010 c300. @@UrielArtsGarage
I saw that you had a bottle of ceratec. I used to buy that stuff for my 2019 Mustang GT for the known “barbecue tick” noise. The ceratec would quiet the the tick down, as well as provide extra wear protection. Really good stuff. Im considering in buying two bottle for my old 2009 C350! Did your pour one or two bottles? I remember the instructions were one bottle per every 5 quarts..?
Ceratec has been a game changer, very noticeable difference when I put it on my old W203 C240! and yes technically it would be a bottle and half but I'd rather just get one in my opinion to prevent any overfilling issues and cheaper lol. almost $30 per bottle! It's been working great for me so far.

Yes! They’re from depo, slightly smoked which blends in well with the black exterior!

that's very interesting with the sport mode, I never had that issue despite carrying heavy camera equipment! hopefully, it's something simple to fix!
Does it got a backup camera?
The facelift version should have a back up camera, mine does not come standard but later versions have sensors
Is your intake manifold still good?
Yup but looking into upgrading to the slk manifold which will boost power while more reliable soon! Fcp euro provides an upgrade kit!
