lol no thats terribly build quality especially for an roader
So if the radio is busted, I can't turn on the headlights, smart and safe 😂
Headlights probably come on when you start the car like all other GMs
The headlights are automatic, there's no need to turn them on/off. Think for three seconds next time.
Headlight control is a deal breaker for me
Honestly feel like the exterior is best looking in its class but after years of fixing countless issues (and all that plastic) on all the Chevy products my parents have had over the years, I’d rather not deal with all those headaches on my own vehicle. Such a shame 😭
Jesus I'm still surprised my father in law got a 2022 for $24k with only 40k miles. They wanted $32k
Dude I literally got a 2018 zr2 new for 40k. Now you can’t even get one of those for less than 55
@@brendanschriber3242 man I should have bought the 2020 fx4 ranger back in 2022 for 26k. Their now askimg 34k for it near me :/ fk this economy
I think your father in law is pulling your leg making you think he got a better deal than he did. I sell used trucks daily and we don’t discount them. And if we did, it would be $500-$1000. They are in short supply.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen him roast a vehicle like this 😂😂😭😭😭
I love that he’s 💯 with us lol
there's an electric mazda that he roasted even harder at one point
He also roasted the hydrogen car from Toyota
I had to read the title twice, and then he started going in 🤭

I choked a little when he said 40k! Im ao glad i got my 30 year old truck for $1700 lol
At least your 30 year old truck *probably* isn't a plastic 4 cylinder 💀
@Squirt Squelterson V8 all day baby! And I could rebuilt the engine and paint the truck and still be cheaper than a new one
@@darklink594 Old is the way to go!
Dirt cheap and ya don't need any fancy electronics degree to work on them.
$26k maybe. $17k probably. $40k not likely. I pity those who put greater than 10% of their revenues into transportation.
Honestly, your comparison to the interior was pretty accurate. GM owners are like little baby toddlers playing with their fisher price-built lifted trucks...
There is something about a person reviewing a vehicle in lounge clothes and crocs that I trust. No BS
I dont trust anyone that reviews and offroad trim and doesnt talk about suspension. Tell me you dont know anything about trucks without telling me you know nothing about trucks.
@@buffhorses3632 Don’t know a single person with an off-road trim level truck that takes it to trails. If you want an off-road truck out of the box by an RC truck from Traxxas and save your money.
@@buffhorses3632he has a ton of reviews where he focuses on the suspension of trucks. He just did the ATX4 and went into how it has rock sliders and adjustable struts for off roading. He didnt bother mentioning it here because this truck is freakin garbage for this price range and only Grandpas drive Colorados. I bet 1 out of 100,000 made actually see anytime off road.
@@buffhorses3632 you only get like 60-90 secs on UA-cam shorts, instagram reels, etc. He can't review the whole truck or honestly even talk about the suspension in that amount of time. It's just fun content & im sure there are plenty of other videos to supplement it too
I thought this was auto reviews, not a total roast session 😭
Nah I’ll take the roast sessions on cars any day you keep it up Forrest
I’m starting Lakers, brutal honesty, more and more
I have no problem with the light being on the stereo thats futuristic
No physical headlight button should be illegal! If I need lights and horns to register my car they need to come as physical seperate parts.

Man I laughed so loud when he touched the dash and siding and said "then it gets cheap again, feels like Fisher Price". So true man, so true!
Body by Fisher..... Price.
Im a gm mechanic and honestly the cheap plastic bothers me if i was to buy any version of the truck i would get the canyon in any trim level over the Colorado (interior is alot better) you also get the highest tune on the 2.7 in every canyon trim level while the Colorado you have a low, mid and high tune depending on trim
I like how this one actually looks like a mini version of the 1500
I'd rather they made the 80s s-10 again and just added air bags and ABS.
@@davidthompson5710 I just wish Ram brings the Dakota back with a 5.7 and 6.4 option.
I will say I'll give GM credit for having the best integrated step placement. Its honestly weird how ford, dodge and Toyota either decided to go for the OPTIONAL kick step or specialized bumper most people won't end up getting
'feels like it is made by fisher price' hahahahaha this guy just destroyed it 😅
said mid so nonchalant I'm cryin lmao
The headlights with no switch is what breaks it for me
honestly i like cloth seats. theyre comfy and dont get all sweaty. i have no idea why everyone complains about them.

I kinda prefer cloth seats to leather, they don't make you all sweaty and they don't get super hot in the summer.
PIA to keep clean.
@@Kinann facts your cloth seats will love you
The trail boss is basically a work truck. The LT model has a pained front grill and looks much better. Lights are easy to access not buried in menus. They are defaulted to auto anyways. The new infotainment is much better than the previous version.
Good to see that Forrest still does the seats on a bad one 😂 love your videos and keep it up!

@@extjerry like groceries when you decide to leave cart at entrance and carry everything in bags? There are moments when you just need to get inside asap. And can't throw it over.
Yeah I didn’t like the tailgate, I’d be forcing it down all the time.
Nahh, the damped tailgate is an absolutely good feature. You don’t need to worry about slamming the tailgate when you’re opening it, and closing the tailgate becomes almost effortless. Although this chevy is way too damped.
@@popinjayjunior7698 we know there is no slamming with damped tailgate. It's still weak.
Cloth might be better considering it's tougher than faux leather, it's actual cloth rather than faux leather (most companies do faux leather anyway), sometimes more comfortable, and cheaper not just to make but also to buy
Bro when he said fisher price 😂😂😂😂
That gag. 😂
“Completely plastic… 🤢”
Plastic is significantly easier to clean dirt off of than vinyl or leather. Same with the seats, cloth is harder to wreck. My great uncle here in Vermont has one of these from the previous model year and the thing is a magnificent work and overland truck.
Absolutely correct
All interiors are and have been plastic for many, many years
😂 Fischer Price for me rollin 😂 I sold cars for 8 years and this is great content!
