Wish they would have had plastic/rubber tipped screws for the collet. Very easy to mess upp the aluminium threads.. then it won't turn anymore and you have to remove the whole turret and force the collet so it will staighten the threads again. Been there done that..
Hi Richard, I bought a 3-18x42 and need to set the zero stop on it. What size Allen wrench do you use and what torque setting should I apply? Thanks, Chris
Hai ,what do i wrong ,no hard bottom stop on my Recon !when i turn the sleeve freely down then it Lost grip at the mainturret and fals on the bottom of the frame ! thanks. Rens
Good Day and thank you very much for the informative video. One more thing though, the thin ring, for the second zero; How do you set that up? I have watched your video about five times and I am still scared to unscrew mine:). I have the 3.5-18X50 I bought it used, so I have no paperwork with and can't find anything online. I just subscribed to your channel as well. Any help would be very much appreciated. Cheers
Thank you for posting this video. I have considered purchasing one of the IOR scopes and was interested in how to use the zero stop feature. How has it performance been for you?
+andrewroberson724 Thank you kindly. To be totally honest I don't need zero stop on a scope with 25mins per turn. The performance of the scopes continues to blow me away. For example, the 5.8-40 Crusader embarrassed a S&B PM2 5-25 just the other day, and an ATACR - these guys are going from 7.5-25x and aren't that sharp at the bottom end. The IOR just is perfect at 5.8 and then goes all the way to 40x with perfect tracking, IR, turrets....amazing stuff!
Just got mine delivered :D but my turrets are 1 click = 0.1Mrad with 10 Mrad per turn . not a problem nice scope it is :D.. apparently this is the new spec MOA turrets arnt available any more Just mRad
Just bought an IOR 6-24×50 SH4 on your recommendation, I wasn't disappointed. ...just suscribed.
Thanks Richard Well Explained & Detailed

greetings from Texas. quick question. I see on your scope turrets for elevation you color codes. Did that come like that or did you do that your self?
+Blue Collar Horse Power Hi mate :) The scope came with that colour coding and it's a quite handy reminder that you're dialling the right way.
Is there a way to lock the secondary impact ring?
Yes - tiny screw inside the lever

+Richard Utting (SharpshootingUK) that is good to hear. thanks for the reply.
thanks richard!
Has anyone discovered a decent flip up cap for the IOR eyepiece ?
Hi. I just discovered that the Swarovski magnetic ocular 44mm cover fits the 40mm IORs perfectly, giving a very cool-looking flush fit
Richard Utting awesome thanks for letting me know, will give that a try
What is the correct allen key for the turrets (not the rings)?
Banane23 2mm for turret 1.5 mm for ring
