WHERE THE HELL IS THIS BROTHA AT??? 20 years done come and gone just like that, my goodness I remember this TV ad like it was yesterday! Almost picked that CD up on one of my semi-regular trips to the Wherehouse (remember that store, folks?) back then, but I was already on my way to rounding out my music collection by going straight to the source material anyway. Still, watching this again just cracks me up to no end. Homeboy was gettin' his money's worth, that's for sure...
This commercial used to play constantly on PAX TV (along with the similar Pure Reggae and 70s Preservation Society compilation ads) in its first year on the air (1998-1999)
This is the one commercial from my childhood that will never leave my mind.

This was the commercial that got me into funk (I was six at the time).
I remember this from when I was a kid. took me a while to find it again tho.
My parents have this album. I have a funk compilation album, but it covers more late 70s to mid 80s songs. It's called Atomic Funk.
I need a "where are they now" interview with this guy.
Love the Kung Fu Fighting sequence. That part is my favorite
The afro looks good but the CD makes me dance in the 70s
I remember this commercial, I cracked up everytime I saw it.
This commercial and the Enigma/Enya one are the ones I remember the most!!
I used to be scared to death when the guy came up to the camera during jungle boogie.
