Hi navie I love your videos and they have helped me a ton especially these overexplained ones. What I would really enjoy is in in-depth tutorial on serato sample. Your videos have really helped me with finding good chops, but I still struggle with placing these chops in serato itself and even more with "translating" from serato into the fl piano roll. Hope you get what I mean haha..

There's actually a shortcut to cut on 1/3 or 1/6 depending on what u set the thing.
Also u nailed the hihat and snare but for 808 i would suggest using a long attack and sustained 808 it helps with the slides and leave space for the kick to hit hard😁❤️

Funnily enough, I used those exact types of sounds during the bridge of the beat

You really make really informative video's. As a new producer im confused how i can sample within a piano roll like at 2:25. Any tips? I dont have any fancy plugins just FL Producer edition.
Hey Robbie, I have a video on how to use SliceX. That is a sampling plugin that comes with FL Producer edition so I think that video will help.

Beathoven is clever but have you heard of the Dutch rapper sor who is near deaf and called himself beathoven (Bea - hoven his new album) actually a fire artist i think you would like it even tho you might not understand the lyrics. I'm confused about something.. Everyone says not to tune a sample by too many semitones because it will start to sound weird and therefore don't use a sample if you have to tune it too drastically. Couldn't you use the piano roll and just keep in mind what note is actually being played? I can't see why this wouldn't work
