Now i have a nose on 15 rpm , souns like a the howl of a worn bearing, the nose on the passenger side , in cold weather is makes stronger sound , no other symptoms of problems.

I'm shocked at most of these comments..I'm the owner of an isx Cummins with 1.4 million miles an will soon be doing an inframe mostly because of leaks but up until now all I ever heard was good things about the X15 an how much better it was compared to the isx..

What was the reason or cause the crankshaft was damaged?

Camshaft damage is caused by no overhead adjustment done, crankcase ventilation filter becoming clogged, and carbon packing from sootty oil. Recommended solutions are to get a good by pass oil filter like the the spinner II, get the maintenance free crankcase ventilator kit, and have overhead adjustment done. Buying a used truck, I'd put some marvel mystery oil in engine before oil change, then do the above preventative steps.
