Are you using it on the Image Quality Bundle? It’s only good on that. I did confirm that the code is valid, so if you’re trying to use it on that bundle and it’s not working, I’ll need to circle back to their support team again.
Totally different tools for totally different needs. The masking in Photo AI is strictly to add some control to their AI sharpening tools. Lightroom doesn’t have anything comparable for noise reduction, sharpening, or resizing. 🙂
I think the *idea* is great… it’s just not fully developed yet. Although it’s rare, I have had instances where I’ve had to run an image through DeNoise, and then take that output and try to run it through Sharpen. Being able to do it all in one step, with one output file, will be a great thing. It does feel like maybe they should have waited another few months to officially release it.
They certainly have a ways to go, which is exactly why I recommend getting it for free via the Image Quality bundle. Same price (less w/my current code), you get the “mature” standalone apps, and can use Photo AI where it fits in. I have had great results with it on many images that don’t need all the refinement controls.
Ah, gotcha! If they truly plan to switch over to Photo AI completely, I have faith it will get there… but as I say in the video, they have a ways to go. 🙂

There is a newer version that has a paint brush.1.0.6 It still has some way to go,but it is getting there.
Figures they add that in the weekly update after I recorded this! 😂 Definitely good to see it added, though.
One day posted and they say your link does not exist.
Do you mean the discount code? I just checked and the link works. If the code isn’t working, I’ll need to follow up with Topaz.
@@MichaelRungPhotography MRTL 15 is not working for me.

Also note that there’s no space in the code. It’s just MRTL15. 🙂
@@MichaelRungPhotography indeed, no space in the code, image quality bundle, we are still in october 2022, and the coupon "does not exist"
I don't think you can beat the new masking features in Lightroom Classic. This is not a product I would spend money on.

Ouch, not sure why they are ruining a good thing by creating one program from 3.

So far I'm not impressed. They have a long way to go before I'd spend money on this "new improved" program!

@@MichaelRungPhotography Sorry, I should have said that I already have their bundle and I love it. Just not impressed with the new offering.
