I organize my GCal almost exactly as you do. I've been using digital calendars for the last 30 years and just within the last 5 have migrated to GCal. Thanks for your wonderful and informative videos.

Hi Tasia - I noticed that although you have the "Tasks" tab checked in the left-hand pane, you seem to actually list your tasks as events in your various calendars. How do you track their completion status? Do you use Google Tasks or any other app for tasks/to do lists?
I use a combination. I use Google Tasks as well as simply putting a reminder in as an event in my Calendar. If it's on as an event in my Calendar, I move it out if I can't get to it that day/time. If I've completed it, I leave it where it is since completed days turn muted in gCal anyway. I like having everything searchable in there.
in g cal There is a default calendar for us holidays and christian holidays is there a way to individually delete or not have show up in my calendar individual holidays in either one of these two calendars if not that would be a great suggestion for Google. When I give a task a color sometimes just a color dot shows up next to the title and sometimes the whole title is highlighted in color how do I change it so it's the whole title is highlighted in color all the time? Is there a way to merge calendars?
Yes, you can toggle off the calendars you don't want to appear! If you want to delete it altogether, go to the calendar settings via the 3 dot menu icon and then 'unsubscribe' from the calendar (in this case the holiday one you don't want anymore). Any event that you create from one of your calendars will show up in full color. If you need to accept an invite to an event, it will show up as outlined in a color. Sometimes it will appear this way if you decline an event too and leave it on your calendar. It will also be crossed out in that case. Yes, you can merge Google Calendars - this is found in your general cal settings. You'll click on 'import/export' and follow the steps.

This works if using a laptop (Windows / Apple) but the Android version of Calendar has a far more basic colour option - all tasks one colour, all events another. Am I missing something here? Best to use a laptop for multi-colour, emoji etc

I’ve never used google calendars. Just the stock one installed in iPhone or Samsung
I'm shook by this. I've NEVER used iCal hahahahha of course, we're opposites as usual!
@@TasiaCustode yes you’re an android google fan and I am loyal to iOS haha

Great video! BUT are your eyebrows micro bladed, tattooed or au natural? Whichever, they are fantastic!
@@ms.avivadawn3318 they are micro bladed! My eyebrows don’t grow on their own. Glad they still look good 😅
