I'm not the biggest fan of this bossfight. I feel like the lightning phase has too much visual clout and you have very little control over it. And he is too fast for how big he is so i always end up having frustrating camera priblems. But man, the attacks just look sooo amazing and his ost is, tied with bayle, the best in the dlc
that’s some fair criticism, I think most could be fixed by making the boss room bigger or the camera zoom out. But yeah the lightning strikes are a pain that I don’t really know how to master besides dodging backwards or keeping distance. 100% agree on the last part, one of my new favorites
After the second version of this boss. I need to be treated with a lobotomy because I'm crazy! Not only did I deal him little damage, but he killed me in three hits. And those annoying basilisks! In short, because of his second version, I hate this boss!

do they first make the music or the boss?
concept for boss? then music then actual animations?
this is just insane synergy i get goosebumps.
@@spatrk6634 that’s what I wanna know, it’s put together so well. I would love to see the design process of a fromsoft boss like this
They know the lore , his dress and movesets, voice ,sound effects , his arena and then the music
Do Midra next, please
yes Midra will be next
These videos are such a better showcase of the boss than the dogshit min-maxed Shirrako ones
@@dimhue lmao 💀 I appreciate it haha
The fight is good but one thing I don't like is how long the boss makes you wait for your turn to attack. You can, of course, be aggressive and create your own opportunities by getting close to it but then the camera can screw you over. Fromsoft, PLEASE fix the camera for big bosses.
yeah the camera should zoom out more, this would also make the lightning AOE‘s more bearable since they can hit you off camera from behind. Tbf tho I wasn’t as aggressive as I could’ve been because I wanted to have a long phase 2 fight, but I know what you mean
@@Veloketh Out of curiosity, how would you rank the DLC bosses?
@@static4802
1. Messmer
2. Bayle
3. Dancing Lion
4. Consort
5. Rellana
6. Midra
7. Putrescent
8. Romina
9. Sunflower
10. Metyr
11. Gaius
Messmer and Bayle are S+ for me. I have yet to refight half of them so this might change ofc. How would you rank them?
@@Veloketh Surprised Midra isn't in the top 5. Most people I've seen usually put him at either number 2 or 3 spot. Messmer almost though is always the first.
I'm even more surprised Dancing Lion and Consort are that high :P.
I can't make a full ranking yet since I've yet to finish the DLC. On the contrary, I've not progressed very far at all, I'm still at Scadu Altus. Do you have a discord server or something?
@@static4802 I‘m gonna refight midra soon so his placement might change, but I’m pretty sure I like Messmer, Bayle, Lion and Consort more (Rellana is kinda tied with Midra rn). Still these are all fantastic bosses so maybe a tierlist would be more accurate here (probably all S or high A tier)
Dancing Lion is phenomenal imo and Radahn and Miquella are my favorite demigods. So even tho I would’ve preferred a Godwyn fight, I really enjoyed myself with the Final Boss. I hope they nerf that one move from Consort tho, that would elevate the experience a lot
I also thought about doing a boss ranking/tier list video after I refought all the bosses so I can get out all my thoughts
I don’t have a discord server but I like the idea, maybe I’ll open one :) I’m on twitter tho
Now fight the one that spews death blight
Cowards didn’t even put the reskin in a deathblight swamp smh
@@Veloketh I assume you know where the death-blight dancing lion is?
@@echojaxx8550 of course, I was laughing so hard when I saw the basiliscs spawning
What armor set are you wearing? Looks like the one in Bloodborne, the crow boss thingy
it does, it’s called gravebird‘s blackquill armor (gravebird set). It’s near the temple town ruins
Any chance for a cinematic Messmer fight? 👉👈
Yess he will be the next one uwu
will you be doing more of this?
@@apolloisnotashirt yes for sure
im a bit late but whats the ash of war/weapon
It’s the milady with wing stance Aow
Help, I can't enter the dlc 😭
I play on steam, both Radahn and Mohg are gone, I reinstalled the whole game, I unmarked the dlc in properties to reinstall it, nothing works, it says "Shadow of the Erdtree" on the main menu, and yet Leda just won't appear.
Did you get in???
Ngl I couldn’t stop laughing when I saw the basilisks (and then I died), it’s so devilish it has to be a personal placement from our goat Michael zaki. Wish we would fight him in a deathblight swamp tho
that's a shame
@@VelokethAnd then he summoned a clone who would take away our health with one glance.
