Hi, and thanks again for watching. Today I have completed a video showing you how to change the Smart 453 (Forfour or Fourtwo) front and rear wipers.
I used:
Bosch Front Driver Wiper UK part no. AP20U
Bosch Front Passenger Wiper UK part no. AP13U
Bosch Rear Wiper UK Part no. H230

You don’t need to use a screwdriver when removing the old blades. Simply push the release (dimpled) buttons on either side of the pivot and pull the wiper off.

Nice video. I always buy the genuine Smart blades from the dealership so I know they do not squeak (for all I know they might be Bosch). I then usually lookout for a mechanic while on the forecourt and look pathetic, so they put the blades on for me LOL. Just a word about the blades, is that some owners complain about wind noise coming from the hole in the wipers and have to fill the hole in with mastic. Not sure what make causes that problem as I only go for original's. cheers Col.
Cheers Col… great participation as ever. The Bosch ones are great!! Ni wind nose at all. Just got a 453 Fortwo auto for the channel… will purchase the Smart ones and do a comparison
@@smarte.r.1450 You will enjoy the Fortwo, its like being in a legalised gokart LOL. I got the Passion Cabrio with 1.0 engine and 5 speed manual gearbox. Great wee machines. Cheers Col.

Thanks for the kind words. … there’s a repetitive question about white sludge in the oil/engine bay… that’s the next one … also a headlamp bulb change for a non LED lamp .. any thoughts.
