Not really since the foam just takes up the shape and isn't getting bothered really. Your not taking the armrest in and out alot

@@sarahholland667 thank you for your kind words Sarah. There really isn’t a great deal between a bra us and a .9turbo unless they are tuned by a separate company. The only smart I have not owned is a roadster. And it would have to be a Brabus finale edition £9k minimum if you can find one

@ ok. There are some “cheap” units on Ali express but for a decent replacement that can be coded to the steering wheel buttons it’s a minimum of about £280 with a Phillips unit last time I looked

@@jeffjames-s3c 100% agree. It’s a cow!! I have just invested in some proper ramps from Halfords makes getting the filter a doddle. Totally recommend getting them but yes… it was murder!!! And also 4ltr is about it. For the 900 turbo. And 999 naturally aspirated engine.

@@gumpoandwordy I was exploring how to resolve that when I had an epiphany to show the lamp removal and replacement. Looks like the front bumper has to come off. The DRL is working intermittently so I need to explore why. Since the light unit has a cracked fitting lug and a I noticed a cracked inner housing could be corrosion affecting connections. Hope it’s that simple as a used replacement is about £130 plus. 😳

@ ohh! Nice. Thanks for your support. Yes. I loved the 451 as you know I had a few. The 453 is a different beast in so many ways and all for the better. Keeping the practicality but loosing none of the charm. The fofour was lovely to be fair and a good buy/find. But found the 999cc non turbo engine a little too slow for me. It a great car. The 900cc turbo engine is like the car has had a personality lift and is peppy. I think at the end of the year I’ll get a 453 ev next and our next lease car change to one of the new Smart#1 evs Good luck with your search. If looking at a convertible watch out for the older ones as the roof shrinks and lets water in.

@@drobbrown69 it’s a play on words. The smart cars do not have a spare wheel but as the video states it has a tyre inflator and a canister of tyre weld repair material instead. No spare wheel. But a “spare in a can” if you please 👍

@ the canister sits in the same holder as the air compressor in this short. It’s black and has an orange tip on it if it has not been used. Checkout the full video for better clarity should be a link in the “short”

@@nizamahmed5073 indeed. You can buy “inspection mirrors” like dentists use .. funny story alert…my first 451 like in the channels logo .. heard funny knocking from the front. Simone day opened up the service hatch … had a good look around and then I saw it…. A motorcycles wing mirror 😳🤣🤣

@smarte.r.1450 remove the cover from the mounting points... lift carpet..replace cover to mounting points. which will then hold carpet against the seat backs...

@@Ripper0Youh then it’s been lost. That could mean that when you have an mot the lamp doesn’t sit square and not aligned (if you are in the uk that’s a mandatory annual govt check)

@smarte.r.1450 thing is, it's been fine but I want to change the bulb for more brightness. When I'm trying to change it it's really hard to pull the bulb out.

@ I would suggest pull the block connected VERY carefully out and take the lamp assembly out. There’s a video somewhere in the channel showing you. The clip sounds like it’s snapped the cantilever part off. So it’s locked in. Thanks for the question. Please consider subscribing if not done so. @@Sunny_a88 ok. I had the same issue when I made this exact video … I went around all the tyres and slightly over inflated… drove for a mile or so. Then reset and it was fixed. It could be that one of the tyre pressure sensors have failed and needs replacing. About £50 is from memory. Before you spend any money you could disconnect the battery for 5 mins. Then reconnect and reset again if still showing. Hope this helps. Thanks for the comment and interaction, if not done so.
