Ok, Useful information! I am using audio as bluetooth output in my Sony 5.1 home theater. It's great sound but not good as fire TV provides via same bluetooth. So my question is the optical cable provides better Dolby audio or via bluetooth ?
Sir you can try using Monitor Audio OUT (White and Red Cable) to give better Audio Output from the FireTV. Bluetooth will degrade the experience. I'm using FireTV Stick on a 5.1 Channel Yamaha Receiver and the Sound Output is great. And yes, Optical Cable is theoretically better. Cheers.

@@Dr_Filmatic Hi, I don't own the Mi Box to comment if it can output Dolby 5.1. But do try and see if some other source like Netflix or another Title on Prime is being able to output it. As far as I know not all Amazon Prime and Netflix Titles have 5.1 Support.

One big difference in TV and monitor is that Monitor required wake up meta data.

1. If I connect 3.5mm/Bluetooth headset to Mi Box, will the audio be still played on TV or will it stop in TV as soon I connect 3.5mm/Bluetooth headset?
2. Can I connect the USB HUB and use multiple USB devices like Pendrive, Keyboard, Mouse all at a time with this box?

Agar hum hotspot ke through mobile ko mi box me connect kar dete hain.. phir kuch content dekhne ke liye mobile se hi play karna hoga ya uske baad sab kuch remote ke through sab access kar sakte hain ? Aur agar netflix dekhna hai toh kya mobile me play karna hoga tv me dekhne ke liye ya tv me hi sab kuch hoga ?

Casting and mirroring are two different things. I will try to explain your confusion with eg of both casting and mirroring hope it helps.
1) What is casting through google crome cast built in this box : Eg : You are watching any video on say any site and you liked the video be it on youtube, netflix, amazon prime or any video streaming platform, each one of them provide a small icon known as cast, on your mobile you just have press cast button and any video played on your mobile you will be able to cast on your TV screen. Please note here, "You have to click on cast icon" on any streaming platform provided, then only you can see it on bigger TV screen
2) What is mirroring then and how is it different from casting? Ans : In mirroring its exact replica of your mobile, in your mobile screen, you as it as mirror on big TV screen, so whatever you play on your mobile will mirror exactly on your TV, lets say, you have downloaded the video on your mobile then you can Mirror that on your big screen through mirroring and not casting... Got it ?
Mirroring means just creating replica of your mobile and showing it on bigger TV screen. Note : Drawback of mirroring is, every call, every message, every notification, even every tinder messaging too lolzz will be displayed on bigger TV screen when your family is watching on bigger screen (this can be embarrassing ) and your mobile is engaged for 2-3 hrs completely, since anything you use on mobile will directly mirror on bigger screen... So, if you have patience for 3 hrs to watch any movie without using mobile even once and if you turn off all notifications, all calls, all messages in this 3 hrs, you are good to go, you can mirror ...
Exactly opposite thing happens in casting, you can just cast once video from any streaming platform and forget it, it will just play that video and nothing else, your mobile is free to use for next 3 hrs till you watch movie, in that it doesnt show any message, any calls, no private messages or apps notification absolutely nothing... Only it will cast video and your mobile is free to use ... Only when you click on stop casting then only casting video stops ... Hope this helps.

Please muje kutch query hain unhe solve kijiye. 1.Isme kitne gb tak ka pen drive or hard drive chalega mere pass 500 gb ka hard drive hai woh is box mein chalega kya. 2.Baar baar usb or hard drive nikalane par kya format karna hoga agar haan to ussse data lost hoga jo usme save hoga toh kaise ussse safe rakhen. 3.kaun si main 5 apps isme download karni hain live channel dekhne ke liye or smooth chalane ke liye. 4.Iske voice asistant sahi kaam nahi kar raha uske liye kya karna hai. 5.Aur kaun se best device lene chaiye isko smooth chalane ke liye like air remote or joy stick etc. 6.Video dekhne ke baad toda yeh clear karna hai jo video mein samaj nahi aaya. 7.Apps sideload mi box me direct download ho jayengi ya pen drive mein computer se karke phir box mein install karni hongi toh format issue hoga ke nahi. Please resolve my query.

Why not hybrid tv box like Tata sky binge+ or airtel xtstream box which allows you cable tv as well as OTT content also have usb port & Cast feature.

Do we need common wifi for screen mirroring. Although screen mirroring on my MI Box is not working even on common wifi. My Samsung mobile connected on common wifi but only home screen of phone shows. My Xiaomi phone not connecting even on common wifi.
I have 2 questions,
1. On Flipkart it shows that MI box does not support live TV options. Does that means I cannot watch any live tv series or matches on any apps?
2. Is it possible to get audio output from MI box to my soundbar via bluetooth connection?
1) Yeah it doesn't have TV built in. So you will have to use apps like sonyliv, hotstar,jiotv etc to access TV
2) You can connect it to your soundbar via bluetooth but I would suggest use hdmi or digital audio cable for best quality

No you don't need cable connection. There are mod apps like thop tv, other tv apps which you can sideload from pendrive. Just search for those apps on UA-cam.
One more out of the box question to you. Can you check if you can download and install the Google Accessibility suite. If yes, there is an option for google talk back. This should enable voice feedback on everything that is on your screen. Basically you should be able to hear what you see on the screen. It is an accessibility feature by Google for persons with a print disability. Would appreciate a reply 👍
