I can't write in public either. I just end up people watching and eavesdropping on conversations. But sometimes I tell myself that that's okay because I can steal their dialogue. I'm not even doing NaNoWriMo, but these videos are inspiring me and making me want to get back to writing! I haven't done any in an embarrassing long amount of time.
My biggest distraction the last week and a half: keeping an eye out for the episode of Three's Company where Mr. Roper insults his wife and then grins at the camera. Really got a lot done after I jettisoned that distraction.
Also I agree about distractions being a main problem. For me it's mental more than location though. I have to just say, ok, I'm only writing, and writing as much as possible, for an hour. Etc.
Where is your copy of new moon it seems absent throughout most of these videos? Also thanks for posting these you have inspired me to attempt NaNoWriMo 2013
Oh my geisha, that quote! I am 97% distracted by the internet and 3% writing so I must be a bad writer D: I know what you mean - public places are horrible for writing, mostly because people are breathing and talking on cellphones and WHY? I would actually pay to be able to go in to a little cube with just me and a type writer. I would probably go insane, pull out all of my hair, and then WRITE a bunch of genius stuff that no one has ever thought of before! Do you make a to do list every day?
can you do a story on watt pad for you youre writing cause I don't have anything to like write the story and I want to do it this yea and can someone help me

that was on school I alredy wrote about 5 pages and still ahead in my word cout, but i'm keeping writting still.

Today I tried to write on school on my double hour free period, but simply didn't have lot of achievement, Just wrote 1 page, lot of distractions.
