- In today's episode, we look into a doing it yourself project to melt and dissolve your un-used keycards and transform them into something you might actually want to carry with you... In my case its a bracelet.
Stop waiting for your apple watch to finally unlock your car when you left your phone behind.

This is actually pretty cool! I always wear my Apple Watch, so I would put the antenna in the wrist strap of the Apple Watch.
...or if I can somehow embed the antenna in my skin. 🧐

You got me exited Tesla came out with an Apple Watch Tesla app for a second lol. The Stats watch app isn’t great to be honest and rarely works without my phone. Don’t want my phone with me 24/7 so had fun making and testing the bracelet 😀

I believe that you have two minutes to put the car into drive before you would have to put your wrist on the center console receiver.

Tesla Canadian Dad TCD It’s never mentioned. I learned in from UA-cam. They always show having to put your card on the console. If you use a real carbon fiber console cover, the signals can’t get trough, so the guy used to put his card out of the window to the B pillar. He didn’t know that he was wasting his time and he made a cutout area in his carbon. What an idiot!

@@TeslaCanadianDad Thanks. I use the ferry less now that the 50 is there. With a SR+ or a Prius The cost of a detour through Gatineau Ottawa is cheaper.
Clearphish way cheaper for sure. I just hate the 50 near Hull. It’s usually a mess of construction or else I would take it over the ferry.

Your phone can already unlock your car. No need for that. This is an alternative to you using your phone

Yes I know, $99 US. I really wanted one but can't justify 200$ canadian with conversion rates and shipping cost. Maybe one day I'll get one, they look great. Alway love the comments Mitchell :)

When I stole the car I never put the card in the center console.
