Right ! I don’t have 45 dollars for a lip product I’m Canadian and prices are much higher here and I live in a smaller Province which raises the costs even more , and I won’t even start with shipping costs like oh my goodness shipping can up 3x more than the product itself! I so appreciate Em and her bringing us really good quality products at a much lower price tag , I’ve had to go on low to no buy just replacement of what I’ve run out of . I have a good sized collection for an average person so I’m good on options for awhile on most things but I run through Brow products like crazy , but yeah not really buying much going forward because costs are just getting crazy for Drugstore beauty .

A couple of months ago Ulta had all the Essence lip products (or maybe even all Essence make up in general!) on some kind of crazy sale - either buy one get one free or maybe 50% off of everything - but I had previously purchased one of those Essence lip glosses one night as I was randomly shopping around Ulta killing time, and had absolutely fallen in love with it; It instantly became my purse gloss - taking the place of my Fenty and my Lifter glosses! so when the sale ran at Ulta, I bought every single color. They are all perfection!! One or two will *always* be in my bag and I love them all. There’s no way I could choose just one, but why would I need to when they are literally *$3* and so so good! Trust me - if you’re looking for a non-sticky, *super* affordable, comfortable, luxurious feeling and beautiful lip gloss, grab one or 2 of these and *i promise* you’ll be back for more 🙌🏽

I would love to see this concept for blush.... While on blush I feel I need to bite the bullet and try cream but I have no real idea how to even approach it. The elf Hydrating Core Lip Shines are really nice! I own four of them and wear them regularly. I accidentally discovered that they are a dupe for the Rare Beauty Dewy Lip Balms! Specifically, the elf in the shade Happy and the Rare Beauty in the shade Thankful are identical! I wore them both on my lips (half & half) and I could not tell the difference! I'm trying really hard to use and love what I already have so I've just been experimenting with different combos and am having a lot of fun with it!

I discovered the NYX XXL lipstick this past summer, they are comfortable and long-lasting. I find the Maybelline superstay line to be so sticky, my lips literally stick together, so I was happy to discover these from NYX. Highly recommend:)

She gave little gift bags to her friends for Christmas, and each girl got a different shade of Essence gloss, along with coordinating nail polishes, face masks, socks and perfume. Fun!! Sephora has a similar product to the Hourglass, I think they’re called lip clicks. The shades are more everyday wearable, but the formula is comfortable and beautiful.
Physicians Formula has a product like the Tarte and Hourglass lip products. It’s melting and has a high shine. It’s called the Murumuru Butter Lip Cream SPF 15. They have different color options as well.

That tip on the concealer around the lips is a good one as my bottom lip doesn’t have a clear outline naturally so I’ll see if this works. When you are putting lipgloss over a lipstick do you clean the wand before you put it back in the tube? I haven’t been & then it occurred to me that some of the lipstick would be going on the gloss applicator & probably tainting the lipgloss colour. What do you do to prevent that happening?

Those Essence glosses remind me of the old Rimmel ones that are still available. Rimmel has a pearl color and some others similar to what you showed here. Is the texture much different Em? Sure enjoy your enthusiasm for makeup.
When looking at the shades of the new Essence lip glosses, it feels like they were inspired by the Buxom Full On Plumping Lip glosses. The fact that they have a 'minty tingle' is also the same. I know people were comparing the Maybelline Lifter Glosses to Fenty, but they also had that sweet mint scent and were less vicous than the Fenty gloss - so they reminded me of the Buxom glosses as well.
An amazing lip product you also missed is the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm. I don't think there's anything like it. Not on their website anymore but still in the drugstore, I just bought another one. Opaque and matte on one swipe... but a balm? that feels sooo soothing? 😍 they look similar to those Laura Mercier sticks, but they're also a balm. Another gem is the Revlon Ultra HD Gel Lip Color, they have hyaluronic acid, super comfy to apply and wear, prob a dupe for those Hourglass Phantom Volumizing Glossy Balm.
I'm interested in the Too Faced Heart Core Lipsticks, my lips are always dry, so I need a more satin/moisturizing formula, and these look perfect or what I'm looking for the colors look nice too.
At first I liked the elf but after couple of use there is something about the scent that makes me nauseous. I am going to try the too faced I loved the heart shapes on them. I loved neutrogena I got it upon your suggestions and finished it all out I believe the shade was "peach"and it is all sold out what do you recommend something similar to it ?by the way , I love these type of videos lipsticks is my favorite makeup product 😍

When looking at the shades of the new Essence lip glosses, it feels like they were inspired by the Buxom Full On Plumping Lip glosses. The fact that they have a 'minty tingle' is also the same.
I know people were comparing the Maybelline Lifter Glosses to Fenty, but they also had that sweet mint scent and were less vicous than the Fenty gloss - so they reminded me of the Buxom glosses as well.

An amazing lip product you also missed is the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm. I don't think there's anything like it. Not on their website anymore but still in the drugstore, I just bought another one. Opaque and matte on one swipe... but a balm? that feels sooo soothing? 😍 they look similar to those Laura Mercier sticks, but they're also a balm. Another gem is the Revlon Ultra HD Gel Lip Color, they have hyaluronic acid, super comfy to apply and wear, prob a dupe for those Hourglass Phantom Volumizing Glossy Balm.

I'm interested in the Too Faced Heart Core Lipsticks, my lips are always dry, so I need a more satin/moisturizing formula, and these look perfect or what I'm looking for the colors look nice too.
At first I liked the elf but after couple of use there is something about the scent that makes me nauseous. I am going to try the too faced I loved the heart shapes on them. I loved neutrogena I got it upon your suggestions and finished it all out I believe the shade was "peach"and it is all sold out what do you recommend something similar to it ?by the way , I love these type of videos lipsticks is my favorite makeup product 😍
